After devoting decades of my life to higher education and a career in academia, I expanded my repertoire when we moved to Florida five years ago.
Joining professional forces with my friend, Stephanie Worrell, meant opening new and exciting doors and I’ve been going full force ever since.
Some of my hats: entrepreneur, speaker, teacher, coach, writer, photographer, designer, coffee-lover, momma, and lifelong learner.
Co-founding From High Tide has given me everything I want for you–control of my destiny, a career that’s fulfilling and doesn’t feel like work, and the freedom to create a life well-lived.

Stephanie Worrell here...They call me “the juggler.” Just like you, I always seem to have too many balls in the air. I’m a storyteller, writer, speaker, teacher, and marketer. I’m also a wife, mother, serial entrepreneur, mentor, daughter, sister, friend, and co-founder of From High Tide.
While communications has served as my professional front and “brought home the bacon” for 25+ years, helping others and building meaningful relationships behind the scenes is what truly drives me.
