now looking forward to releasing new music with my band so follow our page and keep a lookout for that when it arrives. we have plenty of gigs coming up so come see us if you’re up for it
MJH2 out now 🌊
my band will be opening this years glastonferret next Thursday.
there are great bands on all weekend so don’t miss out.
we kick things off at 4:30 with a completely new set of songs
tickets £11 🛩
I recorded loads of songs to be the 3rd track of MJH2 but Anything For Love really stood out.
I went back to my roots with this one- it’s very 60s and optimistic. The last thing I recorded for the whole EP was the VHS player sample at the beginning of the track (yes I still have one for some reason), it really seemed to fit the mood of the tune.
MJH2 out now 🌊
Take Me Home is an old tune that we used to play live in but I thought I’d try something new with it for MJH2
the track still has the attitude of the rock n roll song it once was, but it’s been layered with some odd instrument choices (including a sitar and a doorbell?)
MJH2 out now 🌊
thanx to everyone who has already streamed MJH2 🌊
I’ll be sharing some of the highlights from the making of the 3 tracks over the next few days.
(That’s Why) I Need Her is my fave track from the EP. the bones of it were recorded ages ago but it didn’t have the trumpet hook: once that came to me I decided to finish it off.
it’s also the first time I’ve tried over dubbing a drum kit so you get the hear me play the drums twice all at once 😉
The second instalment of the MJH series of EPs is out and waiting for you.
Inspired by the ‘McCartney’ trilogy, all tracks were written, recorded, mixed and mastered by only myself, making for a very sincere listen.
Lots of love, effort and hours went into this one so please enjoy and add it to your playlist if you really dig it.

Line-up announcement for The Illicits gig 🤘 Oh, you’re in for an absolute treat.
If you didn’t already know, The Illicits are a 4 piece Rock Band who have recently signed to Alan McGee’s Creation 23 Label. Their electric live shows have been given accreditation up and down the country and earned them major support slots with Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream, DMA's, The Zutons and Miles Kane 🤯
🚪With doors opening at 4PM, there's a stacked lineup of special guests. Let’s check them out:
👉Gallaher's Green
Gallaher’s Green are a four piece UK rock band with a wide range of influences dating back to the 60s, right up to present day. Following a handful of sellout local shows the band were asked to support the Noel Gallagher signed band Proud Mary as part of their 20th anniversary tour in 2021.
👉Cliché Cult
Starting 2022 with a bang, their latest single was picked up by BBC Introducing, XS Manchester and Radio X, following on from that playing a line up curated by Creation’s Alan McGee.
👉Reilly James & THE SUMMERTONES:
An indie-pop four piece with a unique sound, merging the nostalgic sounds of 80s and 90s Indie-Pop with modern contemporary influences.
👉Matt Joe Hall
After departing from his much-loved, 60’s inspired group ‘Rosa’, Matt’s solo venture takes a whole new direction. Debut single ‘The Sound Of A Lost Town’ is a raw, staggering-home-drunk, football-hooligan-chanting anthem over cascading horns and a danceable bassline.
👉Aaron Blindside
Aaron Conlon-Marsden of Preston indie-rock band Blindside, brings us a solo acoustic set of originals & covers.
