☀️☀️☀️Bridal prep in the morning sun. Attending, supporting and bolstering the bride. Sorority and sisterhood.

I love this ritual. It's intimate, feminine and reverent in a way that few things are nowadays. There's a softness to these hours, a calm reliance that can only come from shared histories. It's beautiful to witness.

🌈♥️🌞Everyone at this wedding was 100% committed to hi-jinx and shenanigans.

Chelsea and Jess are hugely loved, chosen and revered by their family and friends - you can feel that support reflecting back at each other.

This was the hottest day of the year, huge respect to everyone who rode it out. I know a couple of people had ice baths and came back to the party - iconic.

This shoot had it all - three generations, new babes, global sisters who'd flown in to be there, a very rare gathering around a cherished, family memorial beach and a proposal.

We shot individuals, couples, siblings and group shots in one uber-session.

🐞🌿The man with a thousand faces. I put on a full 90minute show to get this level of emotion out of Sam. I think the photo fourth from the end is mainly how he felt about it.

🐞🌿Actor headshots and a little bit of lifestyle for radiant Dawn. We braved the icy depths of Cromer seafront fuelled on multiple mugs of tea. Dawn also works as a Nordic walking instructor, hence the buoyant image at the end.

🌿🐞I'd wanted to shoot wedding prep for ages. The excitement, the intimacy and sisterhood, the nerves; ritual and tradition rubbing up against modernity.

It feels sacred; a bubbling mix of beauty, apprehension, giddiness and awe. Those that have known you since birth, school and beyond, reassuring and celebrating you as you cross the threshold into your new life. Sublime.
