It’s clear to me (poem for Ukraine) 🇺🇦

It’s no longer war, it’s genocide!
No escape, no place to hide.
I’m not afraid of world war three,
I fear the death of our humanity.

Is it not cowardly to sit and wait?
Close the skies before it’s too late,
I beg world leaders, save this nation,
End this horror; this degradation.

We the people, each one of us,
Dare not speak or make a fuss,
Yet, while citizens flee and run for cover,
That could be you! Your kid. Your mother.

While children scream and cities burn,
I pray the world takes time to learn,
To stand up, rise and start to act,
This has to stop, right now, it’s fact.
