North Adams Summer Recreation

It doesn't seem possible but tball wrapped up this past Saturday and we are on to tournament week for our Softball and Baseball teams! Good luck to everyone! It's time to finish strong!

One week til the big drawing! First ticket drawn will choose which package they would like and the second ticket drawn will receive the remaining package.

With 4th of July right around the corner, who wouldn't love some fresh steaks on the grill?!?

It doesn't seem possible that baseball has been playing for long 2 weeks! Our tball/coach pitched kids played their first games in the scorching heat Saturday morning and our softball girls will have their first game tonight!

So far we have approximately 70 kids signed up to play summer ball!

We will be at the school this Wednesday, April 12th, 5:30-7:00 for our final signup time. Please be sure to get your slips turned in so we can get shirts ordered.

Also please remember we need volunteers to make this program successful! If you are able to help with coaching, be sure to let us know!

It's that time of the year! The Summer ball kids are invited to wear their shirts and walk in the parade. We will have a banner to carry thanking all of our sponsors! Please join us at the school at 9:15 to line up.

Amazing night for the kids in GREEN!!! All 5 teams played tonight and all 5 TEAMS came home with the WIN!

It was the 11U girls with the 17-5 win at Waldron!

It was the 10U boys with the 12-6 win over Camden at home!

It was the 10U boys with the 17-9 win at Waldron

It was the 12U boys with the 4-3 win at home over Pittsford!

And it was the 14U girls with the late game, 17-4 win over Waldron!

Congrats to all these hard working athletes!

We have a few more generous donors we'd like to thank. Bill Mullaly donated this new scoreboard to our Summer Rec program! We also appreciate Jay Brink and Trint Sawyer for bringing the muscle and the know how to get it set up! With the help of parent volunteers, you can expect to see us using the scoreboard for all, school and rec, home softball games!

Get your kiddos signed up for Summer Ball before Spring Break kicks off! Round 2 of Summer Ball signups will be Wednesday, March 30 from 5:30-7:00 at the North Adams Community Library. We hope to see you there!

Getting closer! Signup fees will remain the same as last year with tball costing $5 per players and ages 8 and older paying $20 per player with a $30 per family max. We hope to see you on Tuesday, March 22nd from 5:30-7:30 at NAJ for signups!
