Benbow’s Aravaipa Creek Farm
Our soon to be home, old home, old roots and soon to be amazing place.
In honor of June being National Dairy Month... May I present Sadie! Sadie has given us 2 steers, one beautiful Heifer and supply's us with delicious milk so we can make butter, cottage cheese, yogurt and much more. Thank you Sadie ❤
First milking! Looking forward to seeing what the butter tastes like, then cheeses. Own amazing to have a dual purpose breed like this that provides beef and milk. If the milk Products taste anything like the beef, it is going to be incredible.

Such a good Momma, baby was still wet but up and nursing.
One more to go... Sadie is always last 😊
Update on the quail, they are out of the incubater and into a broader box. The seem happy and healthy.
Picked up some hay on saturday, keith said he saw a quail fly out of the stack, so when he got it home he looked carefully through the stack and found her eggs. The incubator was empty so we put them in and cranked up the humidity. We did not know how long she had been sitting. This morning...babys!
We never want to cause offence!
Our Bull Rush had a visitor this morning. The cow on the left belongs to our neighbor. She and Rush take turns escaping and going to visit each other. Not sure how she gets in, she must jump over the electric fence. We are also pretty sure she is pregnant at this point 🤣
As some of you know. We have many bats and even have our own bat cave for them. Saw this art on another site and thought it was cute 🦇
Had to repost this one 😊
Came back from shopping and found these 2 Wild Turkeys just chilling down by the Chicken coop 😊
Our last hatch of Chickens is just starting to lay. Their 1st few eggs will be fairy eggs. So tiny🧚♀️
Family nap time as seen from the back porch ❤
We got our first American Guinee Hog back from the butcher last night. Enjoyed a yummy Pork Chop with Garlic Risotto. Life is good here on the farm!
Sadie living her best life!
