Friday I had the opportunity to teach this amazing group how to paint the Konnichiwa buoy. The night was filled with smiles and beautiful buoys. I’m going to miss magical oki nights like this. 🎨 Coastal Canvas: Carp Kites Buoy Painting

Spend your Friday afternoon painting a personalized carp kite for Children’s Day on Friday, 26 April - 1645 to 1845. ✨

🎏Carp kites are flown from April through early May in honor of a holiday called Kodomo no Hi, or Children's Day. The kites symbolize children growing into healthy, spirited adults.

Event prep has been in full swing over here. My last event on island is this weekend on Kadena. I hope to see you all there. 🥹

Spring break kids painting class at the Kadena Marina. I had such a fun time teaching the kids how to paint a vending machine buoy.

This will be my last event here in Okinawa!

Tomorrow I will be at the marine gift shop with all the buoys!
