Ozark Mountain Racing
Ozark Mountain Racing is the Formula SAE team for Missouri State University Hi everyone! We are eager to build and race our first car.
We are a team of engineering students ranging from freshman to senior academic levels. Our team is comprised mostly of mechanical engineering majors, but we also incorporate electrical and civil engineering majors. We hope to create an organization that will greatly benefit our engineering students and the Springfield area engineering community. Donation Link

Ozark Mountain Racing Potrosports Polytechnic University Racing & Engineering

Michigan 2023:
We were able to pass all technical inspections: mechanical inspection, tilt test, noise test, and brake test! Some teams that have competed for years weren't able to complete these tasks.
Not only did we pass all tech, we also competed in all events: acceleration, autocross, skid pad, and endurance. It is unheard of for a first year team to do this. Insanely rare.
The recognition we're getting from judges and other teams gives us affirmation that our hard work has paid off.
We are motivated by the other teams who we competed against. We are inspired by the judges who gave us crucial feedback. We are ready to achieve the highest expectations anticipated for next years car.

Get your welding helmets on! We're welding our chassis over Winter Break and plan to have it completed by the end of January. So cool seeing our design coming together.

There have been a lot of late nights working overtime to get our chassis designed, rules legal, and compatible. We stayed determined with the help of energy drinks, ping pong, and each other. Proud to say we’ve officially moved on from the design phase and have entered the manufacture phase! Go us!

Hello everyone. My name is Luke Bolin, and I am the 2022-2023 Vice President and Powertrain Subsystem lead for Ozark Mountain Racing. I am a Mechanical Engineering major graduating in May of 2024. After graduation I plan to continue my current role at SRC Automotive as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Hi everyone! My name is Katie Beckenholdt and I'm the 2022-2023 President for Formula SAE at Missouri State University. I'm a Mechanical Engineering major and am graduating in December of 2023.
After I graduate I'm planning on getting a second bachelors degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Aerospace Engineering. I'm looking to get into the automotive or aerospace industry after graduation.
I'm excited to gain knowledge in Computational Fluid Dynamics and gain hands on engineering experience through FSAE.
