We all got the news....schools would be closed the remainder of the academic year. At first I was sad; sad for my children not finishing the year in the setting in which they had worked so hard. Sad that some monumental/rite of passage school events would be missed; eighth grade formal, moving up ceremony, junior prom, finishing freshman year on campus. Sad that they won't see their friends for an indefinite amount of time.
It made me reflect on my own middle school and high school years; both of which came pretty easy to me. There were some challenges, bumps, unkind people and words...I wasn't the smartest, most popular, or the prettiest, but overall, I got through it unscathed and have fond memories of it. And, most importantly, I had GOOD FRIENDS. REALLY good friends. I still do.
Today is Palm Sunday... one of the few dates I attend church, historically speaking. I watched Mass on my living room tv. I was hoping to feel a sense of calmness and comfort, as that has what church has always brought me. Watching it broadcast from a church without parishioners, it just made me sad. And longing for a return to what used to be normalcy.... blessings to you all as we adjust to our current, and hopefully temporary, normal ❤🙏
so, yes, I watched the whole "Tiger King" documentary...Anyone else?

So I went a little insane last night and tried to color my hair blue (overtone color depositing conditioner). Any guesses how it turned out? Salon peeps?
Hi guys! So I'm so tech challenged but feel free to post whatever! Funny meme's, posts, gif's etc.
I find myself looking for some type of emotional grounding during this constantly changing time. Talking sometimes helps. This is a place for all essential employees still heading to work, and to all those now staying home, most not by choice; this is a place for everyone. WE. ARE. ALL. SCARED. Sometimes voicing those fears and hearing others voice the same, makes us even just a little less scared...
Post, vent, message me, comment...whatever helps.
We are all in this together...
