Hey everyone, it's Eddy here, and today I'm shedding light on the shocking truth about our city government. Throughout my time working for the city, I've come to realize that the prevailing work culture and modus operandi are nothing short of disheartening. It's a system that thrives on attacking, inducing fear, and gaslighting anyone who dares to challenge the status quo that keeps those at the highest levels of power firmly in control.

The consequences of this toxic environment are dire, and I cannot stay silent any longer. It's crucial to bring these issues to the forefront:

🔹 Residents seeking justice are met with unwarranted attacks from our city government.
🔹 Dedicated and experienced employees have been forced to resign or have been fired, resulting in a severe brain drain. It's disheartening to witness the loss of exceptional department directors who cannot be easily replaced.
🔹 Our city is embroiled in a multitude of lawsuits, including one from our former chief of police against commissioners and the city manager. Local business owners are also fighting for their rights, citing first amendment violations, leading to a landmark judgment against the city.
🔹 The code enforcement system has been weaponized, causing unnecessary hardships for our fellow residents.
🔹 Federal courts have overturned the redistricting process due to improper racial gerrymandering, highlighting the unjust practices within our local politics.
🔹 The Building Department has become excessively aggressive towards city residents, causing unnecessary distress and hindering progress.
🔹 Ethics inquiries are being conducted into city officials for undisclosed gifts and questionable business deals, further eroding public trust.

Folks, the situation is grave, and we cannot afford to turn a blind eye any longer. Our district deserves a leader who will step up, take action, and tackle these deep-rooted issues head-on.
