As creators, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to always make the best possible version of our craft. At the end of the day, however, what matters is that you're proud of what you made. Even if it's a draft, or it isn't everyone's definition of perfect, as long as you're proud of what you've created and the process you made it in, then that's all that ought to matter to you!

This industry provides so much freedom to express yourself and hone your craft. Make sure to take time to work on projects that are near and dear to you! 💙

Captions are hard.

Sometimes, we want to share all the information we know, but our viewers only needed about half of the insight to retain the message. Other times, we don't say enough about what we want to convey.

From our research, here are the best ways to get your captions working in favor of interaction, engagement, and views through caption writing:

1. Ask a question at the beginning/end that your audience can answer in the captions
2. Insert emojis that relate to the message, theme, or mood of the caption/post
3. Start with a hook if you're sharing a detailed paragraph
4. Be conversational and approachable, showing more of the person behind the keyboard
5. Intentional and niche hashtags to pull prospective followers are key. General hashtags are bound to have your post get lost in the flood as opposed to distinguishing yourself
6. And of course, be authentic. You don't always have to be professional when writing a caption

We wanted to highlight two of our clients we’re deeply invested in and how we help them tell their stories. Our second company is The Minus 22 Foundation.

The Minus 22 Foundation focuses on the phenomenon of veteran su***de and how it affects those who served in the military as well as their families. They work to raise awareness of military mental health and PTSD, help prevent the su***de rate of 22 people per day from the military, and find ways to financially bless the families they leave behind.
