A down stairs bathroom with a shower cubicle was also added to the property to give it a modern feel. We also built some nice and modern retaining walls with a disabled access ramp for easy entry whilst in a wheelchair.

Out with the old and in with the new.

We took down the old cracked garden wall and replaced it with a new wall with new concrete footings where needed. Once all work was complete we jetted washed and foamed the drive to have it looking brand new to match the wall

We got a call off of our customer in regards to a downstairs floor that was bouncing. With further inspection we identified a large part of the floor joist were rotting away, making them weak and no longer fit for purpose.

Stages of the job included;
• Stripping the bouncy floor and rotting joists
• Re joist the downstairs floor
• Re board the floor
• strip the old plaster off the bowed chimney breast.
• Get the chimney breast plastered
• Re instate new skirting boards

This is a slabbing area created out of spare materials the client had left from previous building work. We had to utilise the materials we had to reduce wastage. Jack Laws🧱🧱

New job in Derby well and truly underway.

Job so far
• Trim the jungle down to access the property
• Remove all garden waste
• Strip the old bathroom out
• Demolish the existing extension due to subsidence
• Expose existing footings to which there wasn’t any!
• Break out old concrete floor and dig new footings
• Install new drainage to take the waste from the upstairs flat.
• Concrete the footings and build up to dpc
• Prep and concrete the new floor.

The job is all ready for the brickwork to be started tomorrow, stay tuned to see some rapid progress!
