Some days the creative flow isnāt flowing like you want when you are a small business owner. Sometimes you have to get out of your head, look from a different angle.
Here are a few things I like to do when Iām not feeling creative:
ā¢ Take a walk - sometimes stepping back from the situation and getting a little movement makes the biggest difference!
ā¢ Take a shower - do you ever feel like some of your best ideas come when you are taking a shower? š I call this Shower Therapy. When my intuition can think out scenarios and ideas, I problem solve, and come up with solutions.
ā¢ Write it out - sometimes when Iām feeling overwhelmed or confused about what to do next, I write down all the thoughts swirling around in my head. Then I start to organize my thoughts and go back to the root of my āwhyā. I call this Brain Dumping. Getting everything out of my head and onto paper.
ā¢ Dance - again, movement can make a huge difference! And using music as a way to inspire creativity can really help motivate and help you feel certain emotions.
ā¢ Get a coach or expert - you will never go wrong when you have a trusted mentor that can guide you through certain road blocks in your business. Reach out and let others help you! Iāve been working with my Business Coach and every week I come up with a solution to another block!! It feels amazing to have powerful women to connect with!
