Eid Mubarak everyone, I pray you are all having an amazing Eid with your loved ones. Please remember the less fortunate and make dua for them ❤️
We have been reading about Ibrahim AS recently again and the bit that has always fascinated my daughter has been when Ibrahim AS was thrown in a big fire but Allah swt turned it into a garden for him. So I decided to create this with my daughter to represent that bit of the story.
The story of the elephant from
Surah fil. This is one of our fav stories. My kids love this story. Which is why I decided to purchase this book. Let me start by saying WOW. This book is so much more than what I expected. It’s interactive, keeps the kids very engaged. My toddler absolutely loved the pop ups. It comes with a map and stickers which my 7 year old was pleasantly surprised about. I highly recommend this book ladies, it’s suitable for all ages.
Today we talked about Hajar wife of prophet Ibrahim (AS) and their son Isma’il (AS).
I cut up some paper and asked my 7 year old to draw the hajj steps in the correct order and MashaAllah she managed to draw each step correctly and in the correct order. I am so proud of her. Alhumdulilaah ❤️
Today we read Yan’s Hajj. It is such a heartwarming story. If you don’t have this book I suggest you get it. We talked about how people used to save and travel to Makkah in the old days and how much of a long journey it used to be. Whilst talking we decided to create this. I gave the kids blank paper and paint and let them get creative.
Alhumdulilaah our Dhul hijjah preps have started. This year is a little different as my toddler loves getting involved and learning with us but as you can imagine it doesn’t come without tantrums. These books have benefitted us a lot and have inspired us to do many activities. InshaAllah they will be beneficial to you and your kids.

Can you quantify the value of mothers?
🧕 We MOTHERS have the greatest power in the world because we shape the personalities and lives of our children, and influence how the child grows up to be.
Allah SWT has given us and raised our ranks (at least for our children). After Allah SWT, parents rights are foremost! And mothers hold higher value in both parents in the divine decisions.
In a lot of ways our value comes from being able to give birth and be able to raise our kids. It comes from the motherhood. It comes from the fact that we are the most important person to our kids. And we determine the personality, character and future of our children.
So, sisters...
✅ Do you want to raise happy children?
✅ Do you want to raise children with high self-esteem and self-confidence?
✅ Do you want to raise leaders?
👉 The FIRST step starts with YOU. How happy and fulfilled you are affects how happy and successful your children are.
Research shows that emotional problems in parents are linked to emotional problems in their children, and there’s a substantial link between mothers who feel depressed/stressed/overwhelmed and “negative outcomes” in their children.
💡 So yes! Become a happier person yourself.
