Happy 4th of July! Today could be your day for absolute freedom through Jesus Christ! Say this prayer, I Accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I Believe that He is the Son of God, that He died and rose again so I could be saved. I Confess that I am a sinner who is in need of grace and mercy. In Jesus name Amen! Let us know if you prayed this prayer and if we can help as you begin your journey with Jesus!

Your identity is not found in what you do, what people think of you, or how successful you are! Your worth and value was settled on the cross and you are chosen, loved, redeemed, accepted, and not alone in Jesus!

Go to the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in… What does outreach look like?
• Praying with people at the county jail while warrants are being processed.
• Helping someone fill out an application in the parking lot of a grocery store.
• Going to the park to hand out sandwiches and drinks.
• Sitting in the hospital and praying with the spouse of a group member.
• Bringing a meal to that same couple after they get home.
• Going to a mission to serve a meal.

These are some of the ways our Ready Now Recovery facilitators are going into their communities to serve and be a resource.

In Psalm 62:1, it says "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him." This verse reminds us that true rest and salvation come from trusting in God.

Ready Now groups are flexible for where they are needed most! 👏💜

During a community presentation, two restaurant chain managers attended so they could learn how to provide groups for their employees.

A nursing home that provides clinical nursing and physical therapy services to a significant number of individuals with diagnoses of substance use disorders asked to start a Ready Now group in their facility for these individuals because they have significant spiritual care needs as part of their recovery journey.

Ready Now is committed to creating an outreach component designed to strategically engage the “not ready.” Our goal is that every person impacted by addictions and other life-controlling issues would have access to recovery through Jesus Christ.
