A messsge to Morocco 🇲🇦. In last nights dream I heard Arabic whispers. I cannot say I understood but I can confirm that her voice was welcoming and calm. A gentle smile from a local lady eased my trepidation as I strolled confidently with my shoulders back through the Marrakesh markets. I feel it is only appropriate that I thank you for my stay here. I now return to my homeland as I have much business to resume. وداعا وشكرا 🙏

As I sit here lovelorn, I notice that my imaginative captions have dubbed me as somewhat a ‘street raconteur’. Join me in contemplation.
I once heard that ‘Love is the death of duty’.
Tis true, A man’s wounds heal from the delicate touch of the woman he adores. His hunger for material ambitions fade as the smile on his wife’s face takes priority over the desires of his ego.
However, as I sit in this state of equanimity, I pose you a different question. If love is the death of duty, would that mean that duty is ……… the death of love? ponder with me …

The reminder that my Mum is not here to witness my achievements causes A tear to enter my eye, but it returns to its bud before falling as Warriors wear pain as badges of honour. A man should never be ashamed of his faith or his ambition. A man has ego. A man’s ego is sensitive & delicate like the touch of a beautiful woman whose soothing voice can quiet the mind of the most ambitious conquistador. No Man should give to receive. Our ability to give confirms us as able men. When my wife asks me what I want for my birthday, I tell her ‘you’.

Mum you are the first person to be inducted into the SE Dons Hall of Fame. The 1st SE Dons stadium will have a ‘Paula McHugh’ Stand. This is a promise.

As a man, im not Interested or impressed by the size of your wallet. Money is a necessary evil, but often the excuse for a lack of morals. I’m inspired by Men/Women with depth. What do you stand for? I know what my brother stands for, that’s why we speak the same language. He’s just won 3 pieces of silverware for SE Dons & hasn’t received an individual award. Yes we know. Late post. It’s 2am in the UK. But it’s ‘Dive of Life’ am here in Cancun. The gentleman are at 1 with nature. In the words of “it’s been a long season”

“Mummy why are you staring at that man” echoed the unbroken voice of a young American sunburned blonde curtain haired, Batman tee shirt wearing lad as they passed my buggy on the sun blessed high street of Isla Mujeras.

Stern faced I connected eyes with the 6 year old & told him to “Never” embarrass his beautiful mother in public again! “Sorry sir, he meant no harm, your just very handsome & I really…”

I interrupted her before she could complete her sentence! “Work of art, speak no more!”

I placed a small Batman key ring I had purchased from the local market for 300 pesos in her hand & told her, “give this to your son from me”, dumbstruck, she handed the boy my gift. By the time she turned back around to thank me. I was gone.

Tourists are supposed to stay in the Hotel Zone. But SE Dons is the streets & we don’t need to speak the same language to show respect! Met some young Dons playing on a run down 4G. It felt familiar

Im a curious man & i had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful Mexican couple Enrique & Juanita today, we discussed my intrigue of the local parlance. We laughed, we joked, we even cried. Juanita told me I have a very warm smile, I responded that the way the sun bounces off her eyes compliments her green dress. It was nothing more than a polite compliment.

The mood went somber, she glared at me as if I were a thing of beauty. Her face although kissed by the sun, fell red cheeked. I quickly changed conversation and began to discuss Canellos ability to avoid punches with Enrique who like me shared an interest in Boxing, but Juanita didn’t speak again. Not once.

As the conversation came to a close I shook Enriques hand & wished him godspeed, he promised me to stay connected with my football club SE Dons. Juanita eyes locked on mine told me that I don’t need to go, followed by an awkward giggle. I smiled & I walked away.

Perhaps I’ve gone too far. Perhaps I’m naive. Perhaps it’s time I educate myself. I’d appreciate some alone time now. Thanks x

As the wind massages my hair upon this Mexican Rock I find myself pondering the complex simplicity in the beauty of the woman. I saw a young couple at the bar, sitting in what appeared ‘awkward silence’.

She looked somewhat bored. She briefly left her seat to the toilet, I approached the gentleman & whispered ‘her eyes are the ocean to her soul, but the sea is unforgiving. Build her a boat and be prepared to go down with the ship’. 🤝 I walked away and when I looked back they were kissing.

I smiled at the sight of true love. That same evening, she DM’d me asking if I can keep secrets. A tear of sadness leaves my eye as I write this.

This morning my Wife told me that she see’s a future with me no longer, packed her bags and left me. In celebration I rang my friends & said Book a holiday to Miami Im finally free. She giggled upon her return 10 minutes later & showed me the hidden camera in our room explaining it was just a prank for her new YouTube ‘couples’ channel. I threw my 2 sugar’d Cup of Tea over the camera because I was so angry at her deceit. Truth is. I had to do anything I could to make sure that camera breaks & she never hears that conversation 🙏🏻

Sunday League Never Looked So Posh ‼️ SE DONS FC x Peterborough United 🤝

As We peregrinate through this poem called life, we often meet obstacles which require growth in order to commence further. 7 months ago I began Boxing. After completing a long and brutal 3 month camp in preparation for a Fight at Manchester Arena, I got pulled of the card by the promoter for no valid reason & not paid what I was owed. I remained composed & in control of my emotion to prevent me from acting in a way i may have done in my younger years.

However, victory belongs to he most determined to win & Last night October 22nd me & my team successfully launched OUR OWN Boxing Platform & put on a SOLD OUT event.

I salute all the warriors who came and fought last night & I thank everyone who bought a ticket and made this possible. Thankyou to my team. We move onto the next one. Follow the platforms & & we will see you again at DFC 2 ⚔️

July 2nd 2022 i will be making my debut Boxing Fight at the legendary Manchester Arena

Ive never done this before & I know training and the journey will be tough, but i pray everyday that God provides me with opportunities & here we have one. Life is about constantly testing & bettering yourself so I’m thankful for this opportunity
