My girl looking down on Nevada Falls after our “moderate 5 mile hike” turned into a 10 mile, wobbly, existential journey. But it was my birthday so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have way too many stories like this but that’s how you learn. Maybe? Sometimes? Remember:

🧊pack your water then double that amount - same goes for food! There’s only one spot to fill up on water during this trail and it’s about a mile into the hike
🥾wear/bring the right gear! Idc who you are, you’re never too cool for hiking poles (as I once thought I was) and good socks go a long way
📣 ask every single person you pass if you’re almost there, call out the liars then encourage everyone you pass on the way down
🚦unless you’re in the Amazing Race, take 5-10 minute breaks along the way

I didn’t ask Tyler to help Kaci along the trail - I asked them to go ahead of me and captured what happened naturally.

My sessions aren’t controlled by constant posing but rather led with light directions and a few prompts here and there. I like to capture what naturally occurs when we’re forced out in nature🌾
