If you ask my children where my favorite place is they will easily say "everywhere of course". Every new place we explore there is something so remarkable, even down to the small details, which are often overlooked...maybe its the views or the trails or maybe its the intricate shape of the rocks or patterns in the sandstone...but Moab...Moab is in a world of its own. I can compare is closely to Alaska, in the sense that every turn you make or road you take the views only get better.
This was inspired but our first trip to Moab, surrounded by its unfathomable beauty and limitless adventures.

The beauty of testing new materials is I get to make something special for my hubby, the kids or occasionally me. If my hubby had it his way, I would be testing around the clock to make his ever growing list of shirt ideas 😂

I have had the pleasure of speaking with so many of these wonderful women this past week, each conversation left me with a hopeful smile and a warm heart. These women have such a genuine passion for what they do and it shows through in their creativity, hard work and friendships.

While this could easily represent ones experience in Yellowstone, for us, it was inspired by our time at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. As we drove through the park we weaved our way through the countless bison strolling from one end of the park to the other.

Each time we travel I am left with such an imprint of the natural beauty we are around and I have been inspired to take part of these memories and turn them into something tangible, something to experience with others.
I introduce to you the first little gem in this collection...This was inspired by the Grand Prismatic Springs in Yellowstone. Someday I may take up glass staining to add the myriad of colors but for now I am very proud of how the etching turned out. Stay tuned for more to come, I have quite the list to create!

We have come to that bittersweet time of year where the spontaneous adventures come to an end and we shift back into reality as the kids go back to school. What a beautiful summer we had and now it's back to work! Lucky for me, I have a job I am so eager to dive back into. The creative juices are flowing and I'm anxious to share some things I have lined up and some fun orders ahead!

Teacher appreciation week is right around the corner and a wonderful, a clever mom came up with a super cute idea for her kids to show their love to the teachers! ❤️

These ladies are nothing short of wonderful! Within such a small community they have brought together so many women who share a true passion for sewing. Women with hearts as big as you can dream, giving back to the community whenever they can. This group has brought so much happiness to the women involved, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to design a logo and make something to bring out those beautiful smiles!

P.S. What's harder than etching glass?? Taking a picture of etched glass in a way that really shows the artwork done without any of the glare!

Sure there is the more traditional Coach's gift of a signed team ball or a group gift but we decided to go against the norm and make something that will bring a warm heart and a smile in a different light. We have been so fortunate to have a coach that inspires our kids, encourages their growth and reminds them of the potential they have within.

It is such an honor to be a part of a wedding, no matter how small of a role you might play. Remembering the laughter, the smiles and all the excitement (or more accurately put...chaos😂) leading up to that very special moment.

WOW! What a creative and eye opening experience!

After a day of learning and practicing I feel ready and eager to enter the world of etching! This learning process is a multi-step endeavour, starting with small scale glasses to larger dishes, all the way to my husband's level of craftsmanship (lucky for me I have a guide to teach me 🥰)

I am so excited to see where this journey takes me!
