I was asked this week why I started my own small biz, and when I sat down to think about it so many reasons came up.

I've always enjoyed creative things, so much so that I work as a secondary school Design and Technology teacher.

I started my biz in Feb '21 just after we found out my hubby was being made redundant from his job of 16 years. This gave me the motivation to stop thinking about doing things and actually just do it.

I want to show my little boy as he grows up that he should work towards making things in his life that make him happy.

My husband is so supportive and always tells me daily I'm amazing, he and my wee boy make me smile and keep me smiling. But I've found creating things for Be Kind Club makes me so happy too.

So why do I run my own small business? Because it makes me happy. I make myself smile. We should all try find things in life that we can use to make ourselves smile.

Hi! So this week I was challenged to get my own face on my grid! An aaaamazing point was made, if I had a physical shop I wouldn't hide myself in the back room so why should Instagram be any different?! So here it is... my face and a little introduction!

I'm Lisa, 32 from a town just outside Edinburgh, but I've also lived in Glasgow and Aberdeenshire. Me and my partner got married last August in the most amazing lockdown DIY wedding I could have wished for and we have a 2 year old that keeps us in our toes daily.

I started Be Kind Club in Feb this year. It was something i had wanted to do for so long but never found the confidence. When my hubby got made redundant at the start of the year it gave me the push to just go for it! You never know what life will throw at you next so might as well give it a go!
