This picture was taken 3 years ago by a barista boy whom i asked to took this picture ,i was still chubby , and felt so comfortable in my kebaya, and still is , wearing kebaya makes me feel good and confident. I think as an Indonesian woman to wear a traditional outfit is a good thing to persevere the Indonesian culture . Have you wear kebaya today Ladies? 🙂❤

My has "KAWUNG" motif, it becomes one of my favorite , from what i googled in Java this motif has a meaning of the beginning of human life with hope that they won't forget of where they come from , its also has a meaning of mighty and justice .

Game On!

It's my fasting time of fashion for the next 6 weeks by wearing 6 main items only. My lent season this year will be a bit different, and i will share my experience at the end of the challenge.

My choice of 6 items outfit are not eco friendly material or sustainable fashion brand ,because i've never bought that kind of fashion material , other than i don't really understand about fashion material, yet i never really see the "eco friendly" brand that tend to be expensive , and i am used to spent my money in cheap fashion or mid range price (not too cheap or too expensive), which turned up it's one of the most contributor garbage in the landfill , and most of the materials are not recycle material, it's scary ,isn't. I will not talk much about it, because i am still learning about the impact of fast fashion , so by joining the 6 items 6 weeks challenge is one of my commitment to really study and understand more about the impact of fast fashion, how to recycle, upcycling or reuse the fashion that i've already had, and more importantly to support the workers in fashion industry who still getting the low payment.
