I would recommend all riders hit the track at least once in thier lifetime. There are many skills on the track that directly translate to riding on the streets . Increased spatial awareness , trail braking and hook turning to name a few.
But even outside a track environment , endeavor to improve your riding technique one aspect at a time . Everytime you ride out , treat it as a training session . Focus on each aspect of your riding and make daily incremental improvements.

Over the course of 4 days on the track at the Virginia international Raceway there were a number of crashes, myself included . However, none of those crashes resulted in serious injuries (just bruised egos).
Ample run-off on all sides of the track and protective rubber barriers ensure that if you happen to go down, you most likely will walk away in disgust rather than be carried away in an ambulance.
For years we have been advocating for a purpose built motorcycle racing track in Jamaica where riders can push the limits in a "safe" enough environment . Motorcycle racing is dangerous enough without having to worry about flying off a ledge or crashing into a solid stone cliff ( If you are familiar with Dover raceway, you know exactly what I'm talking about) .I've seen too many great riders injured/killed on that track. A poor track also retards the the development of riders and by extension the sport on a whole.
Do you think Jamaica needs a purpose built motorcycle race track ?

There is nothing like burning rubber around a good track even if you low side in corner 3 on the last lap of the day , like I did .
Can't wait for them to fly ✈️ the gate so I can get back on the track . Looking more like 2021 for that though.

Prayer is life's pressure check valve. So rather than worry till u pipe buss , pray instead.
Leave the pressures to the Father , He's capable beyond measure to release them.

The things you worry about inevitably end up controlling and destroying you. Worrying serves only to distract you from taking action on the things you CAN change , putting you on a treadmill of self defeat which inevitably leads to self destruction.
Instead of worrying about the things you can't fix, focus on the things you can resolve and press against those with all your might . Leave the problems that are bigger than you to the ONE Who's bigger than you. Give them to the Father.
Put your dial on EASY.
