Origin Story
Building Communi-Tea came about after two friends were talking about how fed up we were that the Asian American perspective was often muted and dismissed in mainstream media. To help with representation, hosts Whitney and Anu decided to come together during quarantine to talk about cultural issues, unspoken ideas, and more in effort to help Asian American Millennials feel less alone.
