The Lion’s Gate Portal occurs from July 28th till August 12th. However, the peak of the portal occurs on August 8th.
That’s because on August 8th the Sun in Leo aligns with Sirius aka the "Spiritual Sun", which is the brightest star in the sky (besides the Sun). This is where the Sun and Sirius move closest to the Earth and align with Orion's belt. This will activate the Lion's Gate portal allowing it to illuminate our path, bring upon healing and allows us to see our true essence.
The number 8 is the infinity symbol and it represents self confidence, strength, balance, union, abundance as well as higher levels of consciousness. It supports us to manifest what we truly desire. This is also a time of great transformation and rebirth when you look at the powerful numbers of 8-8 and 2024 is an 8 universal year when you add the numbers 2+0+2+4=8. This 8-8-8 portal has even more spiritual light falling down upon us and it feels even more powerful than ever.
A ritual you can do for the Lion’s Gate Portal is to light a tea candle, drop into your heart space and journal about the following questions:
🔥Are you ready to start living your life passionately from your heart?
🔥 Can you live your life boldly and bravely?
🔥 What do I want to heal in my life?
🔥 What can I release that is no longer serving me?
🔥 How can I nourish my soul?
🔥 What do I want to learn or expand my knowledge in?
🔥 How much do I truly love and honor myself?
After you do this, consider writing out your heart's desires, everything that you wish to manifest during this powerful time and infusing it in a crystal like Citrine or Tiger’s Eye. Keep it in a safe place or hang it up on your wall. Then after about 6 months, go back and see what you have been able to manifest in your life. Remember to have fun with this.

The new moon in Cancer ♋️ will arrive on July 5, 2024 at 3:57 PM PDT / 6:57 PM EDT. This may be an emotional time for many but especially for empaths and sensitives. As Cancer is ruled by the moon and being a feminine water sign, you may find your emotions going up and down, your intuition heightened and looking within yourself with fresh eyes.
What I love about this Cancer New Moon ♋️ is that it will really highlight for you where you need to heal your inner child. As your intuition is heightened you will begin to feel the need to look within yourself and to start noticing what is the true meaning behind the emotions that have been coming up to the surface for you. Notice if your emotions are having you drift in the past. Where is your inner child trying to get you to look at and heal at this time? This is a time to reflect on how past experiences may have hurt you and where you are still giving your power away to. Take a really good look to see if you are balanced in your giving and receiving from others.
Once you have identified what experiences still have power over you, you can then take the actions to start to heal and transform the energy of them. By doing this you are empowering yourself and healing those aspects of you that may have been frozen in time. It is then from this space, from truly connecting with your heart, that you can clearly set the new intentions you want for yourself during this New Moon in Cancer♋️.
