The s*xual revolution started in the 1960s. It represents a change in thinking, attitude and behaviour about s*x and intimate relationships brought about by the pill, legal abortion, feminist ideology and secularism.
The s*xual revolution has resulted in more women having careers and being in the job market.
It has also normalised hook up culture, friends with benefits and situationships.
For women it has resulted in more s*x generally and more casual s*x in particular, less actual dating, less romance, less marriage, fewer children, more depression and less happiness.
For men the s*xual revolution has resulted in more s*x with less responsibility to their female s*xual partners and any children that may arise.
For children it has resulted in more fatherlessness, more single parent homes led by mothers, more mental health issues, more drug use and imprisonment.
For the society at large the s*xual revolution has resulted in smaller families, more loneliness, less young people to pay taxes to take care of the elderly.

It is of great importance to distinguish science from world view.
Science is the study of the natural world and tells us what is happening or the state of the world. A world view is the "lens" through which an individual looks at, understands and responds to what occurs in the world
Science tells us what is, our world views determine what we do about what is.
Science does not tell this professor that anyone should have gender affirming treatment. Her world view does. Persons with other world views will make other recommendations.
