From James 🗣️ “I am really excited to get the opportunity to compete back in the British Superbike paddock again and I want to take this opportunity to thank BMW Motorrad and HSO for making it happen.

I haven’t sat on the grid at a BSB event since 2019 but have been competing successfully in a few World and European Classic Endurance events over the last few years, as well as instructing on track under our newly formed “Back on Track Trackdays” banner so I’m absolutely thrilled to get back out there and compete again.

I’ll get my first taste of the BMW F900 at the Official BSB Navara test just a few days before Round one so the learning curve will be steep but I’m more than ready for the challenge.”

We are very pleased to announce that James will be competing as a wildcard at the first round of British Superbikes in Navarra and will also appear later in the season at Donington Park World Superbikes in the ABK F900 Cup thanks to BMW Motorrad.

Derek Sheils - one of the finest riders from our shores has confirmed that he’ll race his Roadhouse Macau Racing BMW Superbike in the Open Invitation race on Saturday & Sunday at this weeks GO Classic Bike Festival Ireland. The Open Invitation is already brimming with our best Superbike and Supersport riders and the addition of Sheils will make this one of the most competitive races of the weekend - a must see!

Derek, also a proven top runner on classic superbikes is sadly (at the moment) without a classic machine to race at the festival. If any team with a classic race bike wants a top rider for the festival they would do a lot worse than have Derek on board.

Teamwork in sport is such a vital part of being successful. Be it your teammate, your coach, manager, advisor or simply just a friend there at the track to give you some final words of wisdom or peace of mind before you line up on the grid, we all play a vital role in the bigger picture!

Over the next couple of weeks I will be launching my new website (hopefully) and one of the sections that I will have available is a “blog series”

Topics such as teamwork, how do you measure success? and a variety of other things will be discussed in a bi-weekly edition posted through the website!

I am looking to brainstorm as many topic suggestions around sport as I can and would love if anyone out there has any ideas or something in particular they’d like to find out more about through a blog format.

I am thrilled to announce that this year I will be supporting Lissy Whitmore on her ventures in BSB and debut on the roads…

I am both privileged and humbled to see my company logo holding pride of place on Lissy’s Helmet and I look forward to supporting her this year in achieving her ambitions and enjoy watching her racing career progress.

Lissy was out for her first round of last weekend showcasing her new livery at the Donington Park circuit, below is her race report:

“Very productive weekend for me at Donington Park. It was my first race back on circuits after my debut at Oliver’s Mount. Me and the team are happy with the progress made considering my health is still not 100%. With a technical issue to be solved before our next outing I’m sure I’ll be ready to fight with the group infront or even further up”
