This time is a scary time for victims.... you can’t leave your house due to quarantine so that means more fighting and getting away with it. Please reach out to me if you need assistance, numbers to call or just someone to listen. We’re here for you and will help in any way possible!
I have not forgotten about all of you, you are all constantly on my mind but just like all of you that are trying to make a fresh start for yourself or for you and you and your family, that is what I've been doing. I've said many times, tough times don't end over night, it takes time to pick yourself up after the hard times you've been through... But it is possible... It took me over 2 years to start over and get back on track... I had so much taken from me and I took all that back for my boys and myself! Listen to me when I say, we are not weak, we were not put on this Earth to be put down, mentally or emotionally, we were not put here to be abused! We were put here to thrive in life, to laugh, to be successful, to feel fulfilled. We deserve that! You've all seen what I've been through, I don't and didn't deserve that so it is my turn to LIVE!!! Please start living for you and if you have babies, your babies too! I'm always a message away if you need me!
I apologize for my absentee, I have been handling things in my personal life then need taken care of, less for my benefit but more for my children. I hope most of you can understand that they as many of you and your children have been through a lot and they deserve happiness and stability and that is what I am trying to give them. Why Freedom Against Domestic Violence Corp Was Created!
Hello everyone! My name is Susannah and I was a domestic violence victim for six and a half years. I went through some of the worst abuse than most can imagine. During those years I had two beautiful little boys with my abuser and was blessed with my bonus son. My abuser attempted to strangle me to death, smash my vehicle into a tree going 65-70 mph causing severe injuries to myself, forcing me to stay places and not allowing me to leave or have contact with anyone and oh does the list go on. Some of the last things he did before I finally left was push me across my living room causing me to smash my head on the arm of the couch, giving me a concussion in front of my then 3 year old son. And the last thing he did was pull a pocket knife out on my 3 year old son because he just wanted to play with his dad. We did break up for the final time, that was probably the 50th time but it was the final time. I decided then that he shouldn’t be able to get away with all the pain and destruction that he caused so I went to my local police department and filed a report. That report turned into so much more and he ended up being charged with 7 domestic violence felonies. Today he is sitting in prison after taking the plea deal, and he will be sitting there for 8 years. I knew though that I couldn’t stop there... Too many men, women and children are suffering every day from the emotional, mental, sexual, physical and financial abuse and not enough is being done to help them. So I decided to create “Freedom Against Domestic Violence Corp” to implement change within the system and the help available would change! Now my goal and mission is to change as much as much as I can and to help as many people as I can because Domestic Violence is all to real and we need to stop it!!!
