Pre- writing skills are important for kids to achieve writing - this activity gives sensory feedback and eye hand coordination and fine motor three of the most important factors in writing .. so enjoy while learning !!!

Every child is unique and takes its own time and course to learn communicating ... these are just a few common words which they either use or know it and show with gestures. Few speech milestones - Speech milestones achieved by 1 yr of age
-Children learn language and speech from their parents/ caregivers. Child usally says their first words by 1 year of age but prior to that certain speech milestones are achived.
- Child begins to make cooing sounds and babbles by 6 months eg baba, mamaa, mimii,

-By 6 -8 months, notices changes in your tone of voice. They begin to understand words for common items ie cup, juice, ball etc.
They use gestures like reaching for "up", shaking his head indicating no, waving 'bye".

-Child begins to use long string of sounds by 8- 9 months eg tada, badaa, babababa.
- They say 1-2 words, like Hi, ball, mama or papa around their 1st birthday meaningfully, but sounds may not be clear.
