BAKED APPLE SLICES.
What do I need❓
🍏4 green granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced.
🍏3 tablespoons raw honey (45 g).
🍏2 tablespoons vegan butter or coconut oil, melted (30 g).
🍏2 tablespoons lemon juice (30 mL).
🍏2 tablespoons cornstarch (15 g).
🍏1 tablespoon water (15 mL).
🍏1 teaspoon cinnamon.
How do I make this❓
✅Prepare: Preheat the oven to 180 C and set out an approximately 9 x 7 or 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
✅Slice Apples: Peel (optional to peel), core, quarter and slices the apples into 1/8-inch slices.
✅Mix: Add the rest of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine into a smooth mixture. Add the sliced apples and mix well to coat.
✅Bake: Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the apples are tender (but not mushy), bubbly and golden-brown.
✅Serve: Stir to coat in the sauce then serve hot.
I have been out of the game for 4 Months. We moved, it was winter and we started a new business. It is all good reasons why I was absent but I used it as an excuse.
I am back doing what I can even if it is 20 min walk.
The weather is beter so that excuse was a big one. I don't like cold.
Here's to me trying and continuing my roadtrip to Health.

It all boils down to your habits
The magic pill. If you're looking for that, you'll never find it because it doesn't exist. Hard work, determination, and consistency are the only ways you can succeed. Just because you know that's what you need doesn't mean that it's easy. We all know it's hard. It's hard to drive past the drive-thru and not stop. It's hard to not give in to temptation when everyone else is indulging around you. It's hard to get your movement in when you don't feel like it. Of course, it's hard. You're fighting for your life. It's always worth it. Get started today because, in a year, you'll wish you had chosen today to be your day.
Keep moving... very soon your new level of fitness wil be your new comfort zone.
