This is my new favorite piece of knitwear: Cornus by 🤍

The pattern was released on Ravelry today!

I used my Organic Merino Worsted to knit it and it’s cozy, soft, and I LOVE the color work! I wear it underneath my jacket all the time (swipe to see) and I often keep wearing it when I get back home because it’s just so nice and warm.

There’s an option in the pattern to make just the cowl part if you’d rather do that. Have a lovely weekend you guys!

⭐️ Shawl kit ⭐️

I had a customer buy yarn for the Satellite shawl by Andrea Mowry - it looks very cozy and like a fun knit - so I decided to put a shawl kit in my Etsy shop!

The main color is a light grey CA grown climate beneficial Rambouillet fi*****ng weight yarn. The contrast colors are mohair/silk yarn. It’s gonna make a wonderful shawl!

I was working on a secret test knit last year! The pattern is finally out, Wind Whistles by and it’s a beautiful brioche sweater. I love the details and the softness of the fabric!

I used my Cloud yarn base which is brushed alpaca/silk, held together with a 80% merino / 20% silk lace weigh yarn. The fabric turned out soo good👌🏻

This was my Christmas gift for my husband and it’s been a success🥰

If you’re looking for a luxurious everyday brioche sweater this is it!

New date!🧶

Due to the Covid situation I postponed this workshop, and I got a new date confirmed with Septentrio!

I’ve been knitting lots of hats lately and this is one of them, Algae by Marie Amelie. I love this cute pattern!

Hats are such fun and quick knits, and it’s always good to have hats to chose from right? This one calls for fi*****ng weight yarn and I used my Organic Merino Singles and a combo of Cloud and a lace weight merino/silk yarn that I had leftover from a sweater.

What are you knitting right now?

07/01/2022

I posted some fluffy yarns in my Etsy shop☁️☁️☁️

I’m offering both mohair with an alluring sheen and brushed suri alpaca (pictured) that is distractingly soft - while knitting I find myself petting the fabric I created and have to remind myself to start knitting again lol.

If you haven’t tried it I highly recommend you do, I have some pattern recommendations in the description if you’re wondering which type of project you could use it for🧣

F A L L O W sweater✨

It’s hard not to fall in love with this one🤍 The reindeer are so cute and the mock turtleneck so cozy, I just knew I had to knit it as soon as I saw it!

Design by the talented:

Yarn: Anåda MerinoHemp, sport weight 70%merino and 30% h**p goodness!

Also, the pattern is 25% off until the end of day New Year’s Eve (tomorrow!) Irish time🎇

And the yarn you can find in my shop, link in bio👆🏻
(I made a size M and used three skeins of MC yarn)

Happy knitting🤍🧶✨

Hey ya’ll it’s WIP Wednesday!

This work in progress is a stunning sweater I am currently test knitting for ★ I just discovered this talented maker and realized I love all her designs. Go check her out people!

🤍 I truly adore this sweater and trying it on makes me wanna finish it yesterday!

I am using my Organic MerinoHemp for this project and for the CC I used some stash fi*****ng yarn held together with Cloud (brushed suri alpaca/silk).

There’s still some of this yarn in the shop but I will be dyeing up some more next week. Let me know if you have any specific colors you’d like to see!

Fluffy yarns☁️☁️☁️

I'm currently dyeing up more Mohair and Cloud, such great yarns to get some halo to your knits! Or held double to achieve the lightest garments *dreamy*

I used my mohair yarn held together with Organic Merino/Hemp for some super soft mittlets, and am currently working on a brioche sweater for my husband using Cloud. It is the softest sweater I have knit to date.

The deets:
Cloud: 74% Brushed Suri Alpaca
26% Silk
328 yds per 50g

Mohair: 72% Kid Mohair
28% Silk
459 yds per 50g

I’m excited to share more of these beauties with you!

Remember that beet dye? Here’s the result✨

Hot pink! I put another skein in there too, we’ll see if there’s more dyestuff in there.

Swipe to see more naturally dyed skein, some speckled and another solid one🌈

I’ll be posting some naturally dyed yarn in my Etsy shop soon!

I had a customer ask me what organic wool means, which is an excellent question👌🏻

All my merino wool is organic so it's important for you to know why you would want to chose to buy it and what you would be supporting.

There are a lot of differences between organic and conventionally produced wool, and the most general statement to sum it all up is:

🐑 Organic wool supports more sustainable farming practices and livestock management 🐑

These are some of the benefits for the sheep:
- The sheep must have access to the outdoors at all times
- The sheep cannot be dipped (!) in commonly used insecticides, instead the farmer must encourage livestock health through preventative disease management
- A minimum of 120 days of grazing
- Mulesing is (of course) prohibited, as in a lot of wool production. Not only for organic wool.

(Mulesing is the practice of removing strips of wool-bearing skin from around sheep’s buttocks
to prevent flystrike. Painful for the sheep.)

I will post more about the benefits of organic wool later, because there’s more🤍 I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

15/11/2021

I’ve been working on a test knit over the weekend, these very sweet by ✨they are a fun combination of color work and some Roosimine inspired floats in the front creating the trees.

The pattern calls for unspun yarn held double but I substituted for my Merino/Hemp yarn held together with mohair. It turned out so good! I have a couple ends to weave in and a thumb to make and then I’m ready to wear them. Tis the season!

Half mitts are so perfect for the PNW winters! I’m curious, what’s your favorite winter knitwear?

I will be posting some more sneak peaks here and in my stories before then so be sure to check in if you need some more yarn in your life🤍🧶

(That’s pretty a silly thing to say, I know -who doesn’t need more yarn in their life?! Just me?😂)

Sooo the holidays are coming up real soon..! How is time moving so damn fast? I’m working on a brioche sweater for my husband and it is not a quick moving project, but it’s turning out really lovely. Are you knitting/crocheting/making any holiday gifts this year?

🧶 Shop update Sunday 11/14! 🧶

I would so appreciate it if you would help me spread the word by sharing or reposting!🥰
