Sweet Adi's Maple Syrup
Hello! Thanks for stopping by, we are a small scale maple syrup farm located in Hancock County KY!
Sap flow hasn't been great this year, but what we are fortunate to get is almost 4% sugar! This lowers the sap-syurp ratio tremendously. Hang with us we are doing what we can. February is usually a great month, so fingers crossed!
It's the boss lady's 8th birthday today! Adi has been making syrup since she was 4 years old! When she's not busy at the sugar shack, she enjoys the little things in life along with the big experiences. Her love is so big and she is the sweetest, funniest girl around. Shoot for the stars kiddo! You bring so much joy to your people. Happy Birthday Adilynn!
Today was the first day for Hancock County maple syrup! We had some great little helpers this afternoon! It's still going to be several days before we are ready to cook, but as of now the weather is starting to shape up. We are NOT taking orders at the moment, but it won't be long!
Maple season is right around the corner! We've gotten several questions asking about hats. We are going to work up something with Hide + Timber Designs to get some leather patch hats made up. If you would like to pre-order a hat, drop us a comment below with the color combo you would like. These seem to be the most popular colors, but there is a full color list attached as well.
Price will vary slightly depending on the quantity ordered ($24-$27)
Here is the link to look at the different colors.

Thank you all, we are looking forward to another great maple season!
Gearing up for cold nights of boiling! Go check them out for your gift ideas!
We had a great time today teaching the next generation about maple syrup in Kentucky! Thank you South Hancock Elementary School for hosting us!
We have started getting some orders out this weekend! We are trying our best to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner. Just a reminder that real maple syrup needs to be refrigerated after opening. Most store bought syrup is full of preservatives and can be left out at room temperature. Ours is the real deal, we don't add anything except time and a real wood fire. Have a great day!
Open for orders right here! 👇🍁🥞 $10 per bottle. FIrst 20 people will get a free koozie!
I haven't been posting like I should. Sap hasn't been running like we are used too. It's frustrating. It's been a weird year. We have had a good couple days though. If you are wanting some syrup, I'm gonna open a second post for some orders above this one. I can't promise you syrup, but I will try my hardest to get everyone a bottle. Thank you for your patience, the good lord has spoiled us the last 2 years with good weather and great sap flow. This is our first down year and certainly not our last. I still have a few people on my list from a few weeks ago that I will be making contact with this weekend. Thank you for supporting .
We would like to wish our CEO a very Happy Birthday! She runs a tight ship during maple season and likes to do a quality check by using her favorite recipe "Spaghetti Pancakes."

Happy National Maple Syrup Day!
"We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup."
- Buddy the Elf
It's National Maple Syrup Day! To make syrup, the water is evaporated out of the sap of sugar maple and red maple trees, most often over a wood fire, until the sugar content is condensed. The boiling of the sap over the heat causes the sugars to caramelize into a golden brown color. Nothing is added to pure maple syrup. But it takes a whole lotta sap to make syrup. Depending on the sugar content, it can take between 43-86 gallons of sap to make a gallon of pure maple syrup!

Finished and delivered some items for Sweet Adi's Maple Syrup to help with their operation. If you folks haven't tried their syrup out you need to. Better get it while supplies last!
We are doing some more cooking on this windy day in HC! We are so grateful for all of the orders! We are finally caught up pretty good, I have syrup on hand if anyone would like more or didn't get a chance to comment last time. Just drop a comment below or send me a message. Thank you! Have a great day!
It's shaping up to be a good day for cooking! Have a great day!
We are full steam ahead today! If you haven't gotten your syrup yet, we apologize and appreciate your patience. The colder temperatures during the last few days have slowed down the sap run. We are hoping for some warmer weather this week to get the trees moving. Here's a few behind the scenes pictures of the main boil and our finishing pot.
We are getting after it today! We will be bottling some this afternoon. I'll start reaching out to folks once we are done. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you all for the likes and shares! We wanted to go ahead and get the Sweet Adi's page published so everyone gets a chance to grab some syrup. We are working on another batch and hope to get everyone that has reached out some syrup this weekend, or the first of the week. We will update availability on this page, so share it around if you would like. Thanks!
