I commissioned the amazing Carmen🇩🇪| Celestial lover ✨] to create a portrait of Arden for me and it turned out even more gorgeous than I could’ve imagined it! I honestly get emotional whenever I look at it. She captured Arden so beautifully AND those Khassos eyes! Make sure to zoom in on the details of her eyes because they are so so good. She managed to make her look ethereal and vulnerable, yet strong and confident and I just couldn’t love it more.

The portrait can be found on her RedBubble page and you can purchase it on many different items from shirts to art prints. I just ordered a few and I can’t wait to show you how they turn out. This time last year I still wasn’t sure if I would go through with trying to publish my book. I was too afraid to take the steps to move forward for a long time.
This was really cool to look back and see that I not only followed through with my original resolution for the year, but went beyond it and published my first Children’s book as well. I had very low expectations for sales and feedback and was pleasantly surprised with how well each book did all because of you! I was able to donate to some amazing charities and had so much fun learning and going through the publishing process along the way. Thank you so much for helping me achieve something I never thought could happen. I had a #1 New Release on Amazon this year, published 2 books in completely different genres (3rd on the way), and I now have my own imprint (Badalia Publishing).
I hope to continue these book adventures I embarked on a year ago after taking that first big leap by working with my good friend and editor who set me up with a self-publishing company. That first phone call with changed my thought process and had me excited to publish. He definitely got the momentum going for me and I can’t wait for you all to see what we put out for you next. New book projects are coming very soon!

I am so happy to announce that my ebook is now on Kindle Unlimited! I don’t know about you, but I have found so many great books using KU and I’m thrilled for mine to be a part of it. Preorder sales reports are back and we sold a total of 232 copies of The Bunny Queen Takes a Nap during the preorder period! This is awesome and all because of you! The top column is paperback and bottom is hardcover. The plan was to donate $4 per paperback and $5 per hardcover, so that would bring us to $1,008 to donate to One Simple Wish. However, we have decided to match the amount we raised and bring the total up to $2,016!
