Presenting the last speaker of the ICE Switzerland on Law & Sustainability: Gaspar Genton from the non-profit association “Avocat.e.s pour le Climat” is going to hold a lecture about the fundamental rights to Climate action: Defending in courts the right to protest and protestors.

We have the great pleasure to introduce you to one of the speakers at the ICE Switzerland. Henrik Andersen is going to hold a lecture about corporate liability for breaches of international climate change law.

Continuing the presentation of our speakers at the ICE Switzerland on Law & Sustainability we would like to introduce Dr. Yuri Biondi, who will hold a lecture about the ELI Guidance on Company Capital and Financial Accounting for Corporate Sustainability.

We are delighted to introduce the next speaker of the ICE Switzerland on Law & Sustainability: RA lic. iur. Andreas Hösli, LL.M (UNSW), who will talk about the emerging trend of climate change litigation against corporations.

We are more than pleased to introduce the first speaker of the ICE Switzerland on Law & Sustainability Dr. Charlotte Sieber-Gasser.
In her lecture she will introduce you to the Brundtland-definition of „sustainable development”, explore with your help how „sustainable development” could or should be incorporated in the law, name the main legal obstacles to „sustainable development” in international law, and conclude with examples of how „sustainable development” has been integrated into legislation from around the globe.

🔜 Through lectures, workshops, a panel discussion and an institutional visit, this ICE will address sustainable development, environmental, corporate and social sustainability and educate on the important role of law in society's ability to take effective action.

Participants will be introduced to a range of definitions and concepts which provide foundational knowledge about sustainability, with both theoretical and practical applications for how law can be used to mediate and redress sustainability challenges.
