What should I write today? So many projects, so little time.

I love the brief little interlude after releasing a book when I feel like I have so much freedom to decide what to work on. LOL.

Not really. Self-imposed deadlines are still deadlines and they'll be calling soon enough. For today though, I'm feeling free as a bird.

How many projects do you work on at the same time?

The Perfect Storm, book three in the Blue Sky Series released yesterday!

I'm very excited of course, but instead of just giving you the link, I thought I'd take a moment to let you know a few things that I, as the author, loved including in this book.

This book is a love triangle. Two of the main characters are Native American but the third is white. I loved writing a cross-cultural relationship into this story, because I am married cross-culturally. I loved portraying two good, decent, yet very different men for the heroine to choose from. (Fair warning - from betas to arcs there have been lots of strong feelings on both sides about who she should pick!)

The overarching theme of the book is hope - overcoming trials in life to find success and peace. So many of us can relate to that.

There are secrets in this book. A backstory that is angsty and difficult, but always pointing toward something good.

And finally, I loved writing in a sense of purpose the couple found together by the end of the book. There are always ways to impact the world beyond ourselves.

A few more notes to help you determine if you'd like to read The Perfect Storm: There are several descriptions of the heroine passionately kissing both men. Some may be bothered by that.
This is a longer than average romance right around 147,000 words. It is written multi-POV, and has a lot of angst as well as subtle Christian faith themes.

The Perfect Storm can be read stand alone but I recommend reading Blue Skies, Blue Eyes and The Game - books one and two in the series - first for maximum enjoyment as it is a family story.
