The more we are getting sucked into this the more we see increasing in our society. Reason being we are losing on real connections.

If outcast then you won't survive, either you will be one prey of some animal or die of hunger. This belief has been passed on to us from generations and now it is the default setting we are born with.

One advice i give to all and : Choose your wisely. You will be doing work in this field for all your awake hours for the rest of your life. So it better be something you love.
Why?? Because most of the clients who come to me for , # Burnout or are stuck in this place. They are either doing something they don't like or are in a place where they feel they can't at work. The or logic says" I need help"
But deep down, believes, "what do u know, you won't be able to help or rather Noone can help" or a belief saying "if I ask help, I would be weak/vulnerable" Bottomline you are not ready to take help due to whatever belief
Since there is this major misalignment between logic and feeling, the mind is not sure what exactly do you want and thus you can't say what help you are looking for.
And if you are someone who wants to help, you get irritated. How do I help, unless I know what you want. Or may be advices like make a plan, figure out small steps so on and so forth.
Try resolving that conflict and trust me, if you need help then RTT works wonders here. It is the most rapid way to resolve conflicts in your minds. Once your mind is clear with what you want then you don't need anything else. It will work for you like a Genie.

There's a lot talked about on , so what you read, they read it too rather much more than what you do. So STOP giving any
If you really want to help your loved ones, your friends, your family members who are going through that phase of depression then just be there for them.
They know what is to be done but lack that to take the , to initiate. Help them in taking that first step, initiating things for them, just being there and supporting them even in the tasks you think are very basic, Like going for a walk, getting groceries, finding a therapist, getting them to their workplace. They will do it but just feel scared to go there so just go there with them.
Forward this to everyone who is supporting someone in the family in this phase, you never know it might help someone today.
is always there to help the ones who are feeling the symptoms and the ones who are helping them. Yes, you might also need help. DM if you need help.
Just the other day, while I was with a client talking about her story it took me back to an event in my life.
We were in Netherlands, and there were some thieves back in India at my parents place. After the incident our parents called us and the thought I had was, "Thank God, you all are safe. Nothing happened to you. Rest is all materialistic things we will take care of it." From that thought, started the feeling of gratitude and the action was being calm and addressing the issue, the procedural things.
The event had to happen anyways. No one could stop it or control it. But just think of the sequence if that started with a negative thought. All the panic, the chaos, may be some hurtful things that we would have always regretted.
It needs practice and patience but we can always start small. Learn by flipping your thoughts everytime you catch yourself thinking negative.

I get so intrigued when I'm with my clients during the session. Almost similar events but each one of them has a different meaning they attach to them and that forms their belief. It is this belief then, that governs their life, their relationships, their relationship with money and so much more.
Let me give you an example. Death of someone close in the family, an event most of us do experience in our lifetime. Different meanings people attach to this event:
* death is inevitable, so live in the present
*This is the ultimate truth, everything has to end so why invest in anything
*don't know how long I have, so I have to work hard and save as much for my family
*everyone will ultimately leave so why to get close to someone, it will ultimately hurt.
*don't know how long I have with my closed ones, so love them, spend time with them as much as possible
* there is no control in life, and that insecurity leads them to try and control every small and big thing in life(which is impossible)
And many more..
What's the meaning you've attached? Is it bothering you to an extend that it is stopping you to lead your life to the fullest.

Thin line between Attachment and detachment
What does it mean to you? Are you struggling to practice detachment? Most of the times we know it that it's affecting our relationships but still no matter how hard we try, we are not able to detach ourselves.
It is not about leaving but being there and not getting affected. Detachment is more of a mental state than physical state.

Today's generation is under a lot of pressure to perform. They have a competition with something that's not even real ‘the fake social media’. They develop that unnecessary pressure of perfectionism, they have to look good, they have to be good at various things because they have to post content and worst their self worth comes from how many people have liked their post🤦♀️
To top it all, we as parents put that pressure on them. Things we could not achieve, we expect our kids to do that. We expect them to be good at studies, in sports, extracurricular activities and what not.
As a result this generation is continuously in that fear of failure. What if I'm not good at this, what if I don't score well, what if I'm not successful. As a result they have stopped living their life or accepted that they are not good enough so why try that hard.
Sorry for such a long post but it hurts whenever I have some young clients because most of the time they are so burdened with this mountain of expectations from others. They are in that continuous race to impress others, they don't live for themselves but others.
Let's do our bit as parents. Let them be themselves and tell them it's ok not to be perfect. We love them for who they are and not because of their results and achievements. Tell them to work to impress themselves because it is impossible to impress everyone. Tell them, there is nothing as perfectionism because the moment you reach that finish line that line moves a step ahead.

Today, I experienced this. I remember 6 years back when I was finally leaving VIPS to move to the Netherlands, the feeling that I would definitely want to come back here.

Becoming a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner is my second inning. During the process of Transitioning from being an Associate professor to a therapist, I discovered my biggest belief that was driving my career choice. This belief was that I have to have a career wherein I was helping people, making a difference in their lives, transforming lives for good and this would give me a purpose in life. Thus, the idea of being a doctor or first career of being a teacher/mentor were somewhat aligning with that belief. Whenever there was a mismatch it created distress.
Thank you for identifying the biggest belief that was the reason for my happiness. Now Rapid Transformational Therapy is what I do. It brings me so much joy when I see the transformation with my clients. Everytime they move closer to their fulfilled life, it adds another feather to my cap and makes me more and more grateful.

When we are young, feeling loved is the most important need. To get love and that place in the family, each one of us has learned a role and keeps playing that same role till it is interrupted. These can be categorized into 4 roles:
1. Brilliant one: The most intelligent, smart one in the family.
2. Sick one: these understand at very young age that if they are sick, have some problem then they get all the attention and love
3. Carer one: The one who takes care of everyone else, showers love and offers help.
4. Rebel/difficult one: Mostly when all other roles are taken in a family then these ones have to get out of line, act naughty or troublemaker to get the attention.
Problem comes when you keep playing that role in your adulthood even if that's creating problems in your life.

Social isolation is not a problem but a symptom saying that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. It is a shout for help. Numerous times children, for different reasons, are not able to experience social behavior, which is important for their well-being, mental health, and development.
Studies state that the absence of social relationships and behaviors have shown to affect a child’s development in different ways, for instance socially isolated children tend to have lower self esteem, performance anxiety, subsequent lower educational achievement, and are more likely to be psychologically distressed in adulthood.
