Kernel Patch for Singapore 2 causing issues for panel to not successfully restart the servers.

Recently there is a high latency issue connecting to Asia server that happens for the majority of players

Disclaimer that this is a research that is done by the community.

There is currently two damaged undersea cable, the Asia-Pacific Gateway (APG), and the TGN-Intra Asia cable (TGN-IA) which I'll link the source of news below:

The IA cable was reported damaged on 1st of January, 2021, meanwhile the APG cable was reported damaged on 9th January 2021
The IA and APG cables connects SEA countries to Japan, the damaged sectors of IA has blocked connection towards Singapore, meanwhile, the damaged sectors of APG has blocked connections to Hong Kong and Japan
As such, regional ISPs have to reroute the connection using different, indirect undersea cables, which caused the issue of high latency

Known affected countries:
-Philippines
-Malaysia
-Vietnam
-Thailand
-Indonesia
-Singapore*

However, due to development status of countries, some countries might be affected more by the damaged cables than others
However, StarHub users in Singapore might also be affected mainly because StarHub's main connection to Japan is through the damaged APG cable, and they have likely not get to fully utilize the other routes just yet; Singtel and other users can expect slightly higher latency due to traffic congestion.
