CDHRA is inviting members with ten or more years of experience in the human resources profession to apply for participation in the chapter’s Mentorship Program. Senior chapter-member mentors will be paired with mentee applicants. The program will be driven by the mentee with guidance from the mentor.

The chapter’s Training & Development Committee has created a year-long program which will begin in January 2024. The structure of the program is as follows:

• Kick-Off session January 2024 (date and location TBD)
• Mentor and Mentee will meet regularly outside of scheduled events, the cadence of these meetings to be agreed upon between the mentor/mentee. Mentee will initiate meetings which will usually be in person.
• Mid-Year Check-Up Get Together (date and location TBD)
• End of Year Close-Out Meeting (date and location TBD)

ND Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their team!

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will contribute to an HR culture that values effective, integrated, and innovative HR services and solutions. You’ll provide a high level of enterprise-wide, customer-focused service to state agencies. You’ll administer the classification system for Team ND, maintain Team ND’s engagement survey and others, analyze and compile HR data/metrics, lead a state-wide task force on the development and implementation of universal policies, and drive HR business system and process automation. You will partner with HR leaders and peers across Team ND in the development of future human resources initiatives by being part of the transformation efforts for North Dakota State government.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong passion and understanding of human resource operational activities, be dedicated to the delivery of effective and innovative solutions, and serve as a collaborative partner to HR leaders and peers. You will be an inquisitive and constant learner open to observation and feedback.
