Excited to kick off CARds for Kindness in CARs (Center for Academic Resources, Simpson College) tomorrow!

CARs is ready for Valentine’s Day this year! We pride ourselves on service to others through our Academic Coaches, Writing Consultants, Writing Fellows, and Peer Academic Leaders (PALs), among other services. With our newest service, we will offer cards for most every occasion, both serious and funny, and we even have the stamps! Beginning this Friday (February 14), stop by CARs, fill out a card, and take it with you to hand out or leave it with us to send! We will have postage stamps for a small free will offering and if you don't have any change, we will be happy to stamp your card and send it for you. Let’s spread some kindness by letting others know we care! 💕

Each year, Simpson College colleagues gather for a potluck luncheon on the Monday after finals (when the students have left campus for their holiday break). This year's theme was Twas the night before Christmas, hosted by staff of Dunn Library and the Center for Academic Resources (CARs). Books were collected to donate to children who may need a little extra special love this Christmas. The event was a success and we would like to extend a special thank you to those of you who contributed.

International Education Week is almost over! Check out the Multicultural and International Affairs Thanksgiving Dinner tonight at Hubbell Hall, 6:00PM - 8:00PM !

If you are interested in cultures of the world and international customs, this is a great opportunity for you. This week is International Education Week on campus. Check out the many events that ISO and other multicultural groups are hosting!

If your papers are being mean to you, ask David Robinson for help! He’s a writing consultant for CARs and has been working with us for more than a year now. David has gained a lot of experience while working this position and as a Music and English major, he feels very confident about this semester. Stop by and we can put you in contact with him! 👌🏾
