I like the book called “ the book of change” because it teaches us the wisdom of life. It’s a book telling us the underline principles and the patterns of how life goes.

So when we start a new business, we already understand the pattern that, before success, we will experience toughness, we will invest into lots of hard work, and we will from time to time even think about giving up, but knowing “how it works” from a higher level, it will give you an ease of mind, this is supposed to be like this. If we get to the success point right away too quickly and too easily after starting a new venture, normally we would be falling down quickly too.
Also there is a saying that “ a perfect marriage would include at least a hundred times of you wanting to divorce and another hundred times of you wanting to kill each other.” Same concept, before it gets better and before we have great success, things will always go worse first.

The book teaches us that we should Never Give Up. Because it always gets better. Because that’s how the rules of the universe works.

Another key thing we learn from this book is that After being successful, you always want to stay humble and keep learning. When a cup is full of water, if we get more water in it, the next thing happen is not good. So even after our success, stay humble, enlarge our “cup”, we always have more things to learn, there are always room to understand, respect the laws of the life, keep going. So you won’t fall from the top. I’m sure many of you have seen those life stories where people had some success and then they think they’re already “full” and “ on the top of the world” already, then they fail quickly. So again, “ Stay Humble” is very important for our longevity of success.

That’s where my motto comes from: Work Hard and Stay Humble.

Be Hungry and Work Hard, because this is the only way we can get to success.
Stay Humble, because this is the key to maintain your success and keep being successful.

Today officially marks our first month in business! Lorde + Belle started as a dream of mine to design a consciously created skincare line that didn’t sacrifice potency for margins and improve the lives of others along the way. Starting Lorde + Belle required me to make a leap of faith and invest in my own dream, just as many of you have. After this first month, seeing hundreds of Brand Partners join our community and work together to share these products and help each other achieve their goals makes the risk entirely WORTH IT!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you for helping to make this dream a reality. I am so grateful for your trust and belief in Lorde + Belle and the incredible community we are creating together. We have a long way to go but this is the start of something truly amazing. Here’s to the first day of April and another successful month ahead!
