Cans 4 A Cause
H E L P - O T H E R S !
This little guy went shopping with me today to start buying for some of our kid’s for Christmas!
We’ll be asking for a few second hand items for them soon!
We are now enjoying some 🍿 out of a container that one of our can donors share with us! And eating some of our trick or treat scores!
This bucket is cool because we can refill it with popcorn at the theatre! 🎥 thank you for sharing with us. 😀
Pic of them dressed up for tax!
Still and always collecting returnables 🙂
We snuck in some returning after school.
In the video, Killian is thanking everyone who has donated cans and cash for his birthday! 🎂
❤️
🎉🎈 It’s one of the Can Kids' birthdays today, and it’s a big one—he's entering the double digits! 🎂 Please help us celebrate Killian and raise some more money to ensure kids have an amazing holiday season!

Well… today we took a load of cans back and left with out return slips.
But, that’s the whole point of this charity; to give back.
A single mom was distraught that she only had roughly $8 in returnables for groceries (for who knows how long that $8 was suppose to last) she had a young child, very well behaved, and a screaming toddler, probably around a year and a half.
She left with roughly 34 dollars instead.
Bless her and her children. We hope life gets a little easier on her 🫶🏼
Stay humble my friends.
You have more than most
must be a tough financial year for a lot of people as everyone has been asking for cans for livelihood.
We understand!
So… we will continue to collect to help kid’s in our area when and where we can.
We currently have 6 kids that we’ve adopted for the holidays and are reviewing applications to take on a few more.
YES - we are always accepting cans! We can coordinate a pick up or you can simply leave them in our driveway.
2448 Beulah st. Grand Blanc.
And, yes small cash donations go a very long way too!
Discounted Gift cards sites.
We're often asked how we stretch out $ so far... we use sites like these to purchase gift cards... then we double back and utilize sites like Rakuten and Swagbucks to maximize our cash back!
you'll see the sites listed the comments. If you haven't signed up for cash back sites consider using our codes =)
Coming at you late today.
Stay humble my friends.
Spending a lot of time in the bottle returns makes you over hear a lot of very sad conversations.
Please remember that not everyone has what you have.
One of the many reason’s we are happy our kid’s do this.
🫶🏼
Thank you!!!
These appeared yesterday during school ❤️❤️❤️
Even just one bag of can’s goes far!!
We will also have a jug out there for coins if you feel like tossing some free change in 🫶🏼
Feel free to drop them off at any point 2448 Beulah st. Behind the old family video off Sag.

🌟 Hey, everyone! 🌟
We’ve been a bit quiet lately, but it’s been quite a whirlwind Spring and Summer for our family. Our guy broke not one, but TWO arms this season! One of the breaks was serious and required surgery. We have a follow-up appointment this Friday and are hoping to wrap up physical therapy until the rod comes out in January. Poor guy! Thank you to everyone who has checked in on him—he’s doing GREAT!
A HUGE thank you to those who have been dropping off returnables while our truck suspension is still out. We hope to have that fixed soon!
Even though we’re behind on our Christmas assistance this year, we still want to make a positive impact. This is Killian’s birthday month, and he’s turning the big 10! 🎉 If you can spare $10, we can help bring a little magic to a child’s Christmas. Just imagine—if 10 people donate $10, that’s one child who gets to experience the joy of the season!
Can’t swing a $10 donation? No problem! We can always accept your returnables. We can fit small loads in our car trunk, or you can drop them off in our driveway anytime. Every little bit makes a difference and brings smiles to kids’ faces! If you donate returnables, please note ‘cans’ in the note section.
❤️
As always, thank you for helping us connect with communities in need!

I just watched Killian back out of the door at physical therapy to help push a woman in a wheelchair who was exit the building. ❤️🥹
He’s doing alright.
Killian asked this morning….
List off simple ways that you help or give back to random people.
We’re hoping to discover new ways to passively help other’s
Lately we’ve been randomly complimenting strangers. One lady had tears in her eyes and explained that the simple compliment went a long way with her terrible week.
Thank you!
The money that Kim Spencer collected for us will be able to cover 1 child for Christmas 🎅🏻 🤶 🎄
Also, thank you so much to those who dropped off cans this week 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 huge help while we’re down for a little bit
Posting some random photos of our little Veda while we update everyone because we know people always stop to see our girl!
WE ARE SOOOOO BEHIND on our Christmas collection this year.
Killian broke both of his arms this summer, and one required surgery. We are finally out of the cast and currently in physical therapy.
Our truck’s suspension failed about 6 weeks ago, which has been a significant setback during our busiest season. We’re just now finding the extra time to fix it.
With doctor appointments, the busy season at work, and the truck issue, we’ve been unable to collect returnables all summer, which has pushed us incredibly behind.
We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has dropped cans off in our driveway this year. With those donations, we were able to assist a few kids with back-to-school items. It’s definitely not as many as in the past, but every little bit helps.
You CAN still drop off cans at our driveway: 2448 Beulah St. Our truck will be fixed soon, and we will be hustling to collect.
Kohl’s Cash and cash donations are ALWAYS welcome as well.

Thank you for helping us help others and for raising our kids with empathy.

How absolutely AMAZING is this?!
If you drop off cans to our house and you'd like to bring your broken or unwanted crayons, we will happily take them to stapes throughout the year!

Due to Killian's health this summer we're quite behind on collecting cans.
Last Friday he had two rod's placed in his arm. He's feeling much better today as opposed to the last few days.
To help with the lack of collecting and to help curb his boredom we helped him learn how to make custom shirts.
If you are looking for some fun school swag, please consider his options! You will not only get a fun piece of merch, you'll help struggling families around the holidays.
😊 simply click the link. there are many options to choose from.

Little guy asked me to update everyone since he’s getting a lot of “hey, checking in on Killian”’s.
We have a full week next week with appointments and labs/scans. We go back to the bone doctor Thursday to see if he’ll need a pin.
Little guy has had the worst summer break so please keep sending those positive vibes. Reading the comments and such seem to brighten him up a little
Also, thank you for the quarters!
Join Us in Supporting "Quarters for Kids"
While Killian heals up from his cast, he's been keeping busy with a special project close to his heart.
At the end of the school year, we partnered with McGrath Elementary's Principal to launch a meaningful initiative: "Quarters for Kids." This upcoming school year, we're thrilled to kick off this program district-wide, aiming to support families facing financial challenges.
Inspired by a generous donation of quarters, our goal is simple: to ensure every child, regardless of financial circumstances, can participate in enriching experiences like the Mackinaw trip and other educational outings.
How You Can Help:
-Keep an eye out for flyers and small envelopes that will be sent home with elementary school kids in Grand Blanc Schools. Simply slip in a few quarters to contribute.
-Drop off quarters in our designated collection tin under the porch, or when dropping off returnables at our house. Every quarter counts!
-Consider donating to cover costs for envelopes and stamps for "Cans 4 a Cause" stickers to affix to the envelopes, as well as mason jar coin lids.
-We also welcome donations of clean 'Classico' pasta sauce jars (compatible with mason jar lids) and quarter rolls.
Jars will be placed in classrooms at McGrath and Anderson Elementary Schools initially, with plans to expand to other schools. Collected quarters will be rolled and stored in the office, ready to assist any child in need.
Let's unite as a community to support our children. Your positive contributions are appreciated; let's focus on the well-being and inclusion of every child.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
And a special thank you to the generous donors who kickstarted the program with a ziplock bag of quarters. Your kindness is deeply valued!
With gratitude,
Killian, Veda, and the Grand Blanc community
Little man’s bottle returning arm is down for a few weeks 😞
Killian can’t catch a break this summer !
Please send him positive vibes. It also gives him something to do while he’s sitting
To those that gifted the kid’s your Kohl’s cash. They thank you!

Thank you for helping our kid’s help Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MI, Flushing
Also, sadly, we will not be able to pick up any cans in the near future, the suspension went out in our truck 🙁
We are working on figuring out another vehicle but, we ourselves, are feeling the crunch from the insane inflation
As always! We thank you for having huge hearts and helping our kid’s help other’s

Showing a photo of some pre-Christmas shopping for our families in need this coming season. We like to occasionally show you that even though we do not post all the time we are still working to help our community I need as much as we can when we have the time to!
* We are a working family, we do not take from this charity fund! There are so, so many families hurting. *
This is the absolute busiest time for our household in terms of our normal jobs.
So, we really, really appreciate everyone for making drops at our house!
We’re squeezing in returns every time we go to the store
