My journey hasn’t been easy. I started keto in February 2017 with zero clue of what I was doing. It was all trial and error for me until I found a system that worked. I lost 65+ lbs in the first 10 months. Looking back, I’d say I lost weight fairly quickly, but during all of that, I remember being frustrated every single day. I eventually stopped taking my depression meds because keto seemed to really be helping my mood.
Fast forward to 2019. Some things happened in my personal life that broke me. I gained about 10 lbs back. Got back on my depression and anxiety meds. Silently felt like a total failure. Then 2020 hit and we all know how that’s going!
I have not weighed myself in about 2 years. It’s a healthy space for me to be in. Rather than focusing on the scale, I’m focusing on fueling my body and being healthy. Both mentally and physically.
I am slowly coming back to life and getting my s*** together. One day at a time. Seeing pics like this really helps to motivate me to be the best version of myself. I’m excited to see where the next part of my journey takes me. All I know is that it better not be back to the part where I have 3 chins. 🙏🏽😂
