This scout troop is kitted out for camping season after a community fund donation helped them buy new camping fridges and a freezer 🏕️ members of 1st Great Sutton Scout Group will now have the opportunity to brush up on their culinary skills during their residentials and carry that skill into later life! 🧑🍳

🌎Our cubs were there 🌎
Woden cub pack got to have the most amazing experience sleeping over at Chester cathedral last night! Where the stunning GAIA globe was on show for them to view!
Such an incredible experience
💚Our Woden CUB group were working towards their money skills badge at the end of last year. They worked super hard to earn money at home by completing tasks and helping with chores. They learnt about budgeting, currencies and much more whilst completing the badge.
With the money they had earned over the weeks they went out on their Wednesday evening to chose some toys for charity. The cubs split up into smaller groups and went round the store choosing 2 toys per group for the age range of 8-11.
All the cubs did such amazing work through this badge and donated the toys to a wonderful charity
The charity they chose was the Stanlaw Abbey Christmas toy appeal, you can find out more about what they do and how incredibly hard they work to get gifts to children in Ellesmere port. Below is their thank video to all who were involved!
