Run4All Neath C25K
Run4All Neath’s couch to 5k programme is 10 weeks, comprising of 3 sessions, 2 of which are coached.
Intake 7, FINAL COACHED SESSION of the course.
We have been a really small group this course but I’ll be equally as pleased & proud to see you all at gnoll parkrun finish line for GRADUATION on Saturday morning.
Intake 7,
Final week, wow, how quickly has that gone?
Because we have a slight incline at gnoll parkrun we got a bit of hill practice in & you totally nailed it, chatty all the way.
Intake 7, week 9, session 2
Small in numbers tonight but MASSIVE on effort. Steady up & an easy down, chatting all the way.
Intake 7
Week 8, session 2
1 solid 2 mile run, yep that’s right 2miles, no walk recovery, non stop running.
Beautiful conditions on Aberavon prom this evening, no wind, tide crashing in on the steps & plenty of supportive walkers. Thanks to Claire Winfield for her brilliant support at the front & setting our finish line.
Week 8, session 1
Nice little loop around the outskirts of town. My watch wouldn’t turn on so had to record directly from strava & safe to say you are going to complete gnoll park run NO PROBLEM.
Great session tonight girls only 5 session a with me left to go 😊
Week 7, session 2 - LOOK AT THAT DISTANCE.
We are only a small group on this course, with a wide range of pace ability but the support for each other & the fun we are having on these runs makes or equally as rewarding from a coaches perspective as all the packed out courses.
Well done guys, 2 runs with a walk recovery in the middle, we all hit different distances as some of you get ahead & then peel back to close the gap but the 2.5 was our back runner. Oh & of course a cheeky incline 😂
Intake 7, week 6, session 2.
Now I’m really seeing progress in the your running & your confidence. We are on the 2nd half of the course & each session will be increasing in moving time, but how much fun is running with company & having a chat?
Intake 7, week 5 session 2
Roll back session, whoop whooop. Great running & I love running with someone different every session, getting to know you all as individuals.
Thank you to Math-James Poults for extra support.
Definitely feeling a bit cooler this evening & darker too, hi-viz reflection clothing from Monday please.
Week 5, session 1, nearly half way.
Missed you ladies last week when work took over my life, but it was good to be back tonight & get out for a good run.
Intake 7,
Week 3, session 1.
Spread myself through the group today, but couldn’t quite catch up to our front runner up the hill.
Great running tonight guys, the times were more than manageable but the hill made it tough.
Thank you Hannah Lewis for your support
Intake 7,
Week 2, session 2
Only 4 of you tonight. Due to lurgy etc, so we went off site for our 1st off track session, which made it fly, when I blew the final whistle & said we are done, everyone said, “wow, really?”
Yes really. The recovery was so much easier already.
Well done guys, brilliant efforts & welcome Jessica who missed last week.
Intake 7
Week 2, session 1
Another horrible rainy night, but another top effort.
Well done guys.
So very proud of Rachel Thomas today, c25k graduate March 2022, Cardiff half marathon October 2023.
Congratulations Rach. Be proud & enjoy your celebrations x
Intake 7, week 1 session 2.
I think we got lucky with the weather, a little shower at the very start & some gusty winds, but we stayed dry.
We worked really hard though & managed to cover 1.53miles, with equal amounts of running & walking.
For some perspective 1.53 miles is HALF a 5k & we are only on session 2 out of 30.
Well done guys
Intake 7, week 1
