It's been a long time since the band last rehearsed in Spring of this year. The Delta mutation unfortunately put a damper on our progress. But, the coming year looks to be a new year of fresh possibility and imminent creation. Hear Hear and Stay Tuned!! PORCELAIN HAMMER will return to songwriting, rehearsals and living performance: Mike Khoury violin, Deanna McMullen Lee cello, Mike List tablas & drum kit, and Benjamin Miller stereo guitar & vocal.

Last Sunday, Porcelain Hammer rehearsed again with the string section; guitars, violin, cello. Focus was on Cluster Fk and David Lynch's Good Day Today. Emerald Echo unit and GK bass amp changed hands over to Deanna McMullen Lee for her cello sound. Mike Khoury's violin is heavy on the Echoplex. My Fender Squire VI bass runs through a Fender Bassman sitch with the stereo Gibson Kalamazoo including a Kustom tube amp. Next week, percussionist wizard Mike List joins with his drum kit, dumbec & tabla setup. Entropy Studios - Yay!

Today, Porcelain Hammer rehearsed for the first time since late 2019. That is a very long time and it was great to feel OK with it all. We focused on the strings; cello, violin, and 6-string bass, and worked on some new tunes: Third Border's "Where Are You, Now?" and David Lynch's "Good Day, Today."

Here is a video hodge podge illustrating today's rehearsal. Enjoy!
