Introducing the final piece in my 💙🧡2023 Self & Mushroom Study🧡💙 I realize it’s been awhile,! but there was no need to rush this ,. This one means a lot to me- the silly Silvia of today!

In my others in this collection, i painted myself from different times of my life, accompanied by mushies🍄. i did the same here, but instead of looking at a picture for reference,

i painted myself up as i am in my heart & brain 🩵

earlier this year i sat with the different versions of her.
today;
i sit with myself

I’d replace the last years of my life with nothing. Valuable and giving they have been to me

i luv the baby of colors i was, the oddity following, the whines of
almost adult
they are in my heart, forever
they are my heart

and i can’t wait for them to be me

I love who i am today.
i love to grow.

i could ramble on about the now, about the acceptance, hope, and love

but i’d like to highlight
the holes being an artist has filled

Nothing has ever given to me what creating has, specifically the kind of
liquid colors,
and
i am grateful to myself & source & everyone else that contributed in
getting me here.

fortunate to have this love, a relationship with creating, hands and eyes and body that make it possible to do so

this one is for the art and love in my bones, and in the world, and in the people that i love. i feel the luckiest.

Introducing the teen life silvs to my 2023 Self & Mushroom Study 🥺💙💙💙💙
(another lengthy one, as per usual 😅)
There are not enough words, in any language, to sum up the teenage years of my life, But i’ll say,,I love and hold dearly the many versions of me that existed during these years. A uniquely terrible & wonderful time to be growing into the world w/ the internet, a sometimes crippling thing that only our silly little generation can understand! i learned much of friendship, love, myself and the world around me. Through these years, agony was most of what i knew. I hated myself deeply, I was ashamed of who i was, for taking up space the way i did, for not being put together, for losing my motivation to shower, and eat, and go to school. i was ashamed of my sadness. my depression. for wanting to take my own life. I was ashamed for my sensitivity, i hated the world for not loving and accepting me more. My hatred grew, for everything, everyone, and especially for myself. and that is not to say these years weren’t also filled with love & light & learning! w/ friendship and laughs and experiences that warm my heart! but everyday i am here, i thank myself for staying. i still don’t understand how i love myself and my life; but it showed me that i am capable of the impossible. she is wild and strange and she cries at sunsets, & clouds, & music. she weeps for her friends, the world, and herself. screams to the skies at all the pain she’s seen. She felt wrong in her being, in her feelings,
in not wanting to exist in a very unjust and unkind world. you were never wrong for it. if you ever feel this way, i understand. you are not wrong for it. i’m very glad you’re here, & i’m very proud of you for all the seconds you’ve survived.
happiness and joy is meant for the darkest of hearts. the ones that have shattered a billion times over, are the ones meant for love and goodness.
this series is dedicated to su***de prevention and the importance of mental health. i’m glad you’re here. reach out if you need, tell your journal of your pain, cry to the trees; but please stay 💙

Here’s to the goon, the weirdo, the wildest, strangest version of me. My hugs & love are endless for the me that scales up rock walls, melts down crayons, wears homemade chokers, and has large amounts of adventure time- everything.
I like what i like because of you. i like to sing songs loudly and badly and not care, i like to try new things, i like to watch cartoons & cry at them, to wear my own jewelry, to dress however i want, to be outside without shoes; because of you. 💓
i let all my silliness, all that i am, live, because of you

I’ve yet to meet anyone with your boldness. Someone truly proud to be odd. I love you for that. I look up to you like i’m sure you’d look up to me.
being you reminds me of doodling mushrooms 🍄 on all my papers, along with all the flowers and eyeballs and random little things

she would be in aw of this piece, and that makes the piece perfect.

i deeply wish i could give you all that i know to face the heartbreaks you’ll see. Many hugs from future you, to get through it.
Here, i started to make choices that i didn’t know would wound me so. The end of my early adolescence was unhealthy and confusing. But you don’t know until you do. Sometimes you have to learn how to be healthy after. Healthy in the way that you care about your feelings & your mental wellbeing.

hello all! this is a lengthy one! Introducing the first in my Self & Mushroom Study 2023 💓

this series is for all the various versions of myself! i’ve been sitting with and holding who i once was, from different stages of my life 💙

Baby boy silvs is colorful and magic and lets all her silliness bleed into the world around her! 💓She reminds me of those little mushrooms that grow everywhere in the grass; she loves pulling apart the caps and seeing what they’re made of💓! she is curious and courageous enough to be herself, and i love her! Colorful and bright and magic! And as long as my heart beats, she will live on ❤️

growing up but never old! stick your tongue out in the snow! say hello to the trees and your stuffed animals! be a little messier sometimes; be yourself! all of you is safe with me, little silvs, i promise !

my lack of care towards my mental health made things pretty tough for a long time. little silvs never deserved my unhealthy ways!, we deserve to receive better ways to cope from ourselves. kindness from ourselves.,
