JUNIOR TOP GUNS 2024
First race of the year in Melbourne last weekend.
So happy to be back on track and doing what I love.
Day 1 Friday was very average and I had the need for speed, I just couldn't find it!
Qualified 9th, Race 1 13th, Race 2 18th Race 3 14th
Day 2 Saturday was a better day and we were happy with our efforts.
Qualified 5th, Race 1 5th and found my pace to set the purple, Race 2 3rd but hurt my Rib on the roller-coaster track and wasn't sure how I would go for the final. Luckily Mum found a padded bandage thing (I'm sure there is a proper term 🤔) and that made it slightly bearable to race. I started the final from P2 but ended up in 9th.
Just happy to finish and persevere to do my best!
Overall for the weekend I finished 9️⃣th.

Round 5 wrap up.
Last weekend was fab, weather was wet then dry and then it repeated again!
Qualified 2nd and from there I went on to the cross the finish line first every time I was on track.
Unfortunately I received a starting infringement in Heat 2 meaning I got a 10 sec penalty and was relegated to 4th.
In the final I was pushed back to 6th by the first lap but fought hard and managed to take the chequered 🏁 and the top step!

Final Round of the Australian Kart Championship - the points are finally updated! 🙌
Was a decent way to finish the Championship & whilst there are always improvements, we were running up front where we wanted & even lead a heat for a while after we fixed the carby.
Qualifying result 16th
Started each heat outside in 8th
Race 1 finished 10th
Race 2 finished 5th
Race 3 finished 5th
Race 4 finished 4th
Final finshed 12th
Results Overall - personally I finished 1️⃣2️⃣th out of 103 cadet 12 entrants 💪
Congratulations to my team for winning the teams Championship 🏆it was a fantastic experience to be a part of. Thank you for all your support and Liam the data guy - you guys rock!

City of Melbourne titles last weekend was a massive and fun event with 438 entries and 65 cadet 12's. Stoked with decent results to get in the top 10 but know there is more in it for next time!
Qualified 16th and started each heat on the outside in 8th.

VCS ROUND 2 HAMILTON
A quick stop at the Coonawarra was a great start to the boys weekend with the Spitiri's and Kym.

It got better from there with qualifying in P1 in my brand new Omega Racing Karts chassis and J&A Kart Tuning Centre engine.

Heat 1 was a close battle with Blake Purvis and Lucas Constanzo and that set the tone for the rest of the races 3️⃣rd

Heat 2 Sunday morning and it was on again, Dom took the lead on the final lap to take the win 🏆

Heat 3 and the three of us were back at it chopping and changing positions constantly 3️⃣rd

In the final, the class and respect the boys had already shown for each other continued as this race was another hotly contested battle. Dom lead for a while before noticing something didn't quite feel right. Pushing on, he drove as hard as he could with not be able to turn right easily. Well by the time he came in, the right rear wheel was literally hanging on by 2 threads 🫣 Lucky the track is mostly left handers! FINAL place 🥈

Australian Kart Championship Round 2 Wanneroo WA wrap up!

Headed west to a new track for Dom and after two days of practice, we qualified late Friday arvo. Unfortunately not our best result but the best we could manage given the conditions was 33rd out of 56 cadet 12s. From there the group was split in to 3 - A, B and C with Dom in group C.

Heat 2 22nd to 14th
Heat 3 22nd to 13th (DD 15th)
Heat 4 13th to 9th
Heat 5 12th to 3️⃣rd 😁

Making his way forward through the heats put him in to P8 for the final and in typical bad luck fashion he got swallowed up in the start and finished in 1️⃣3️⃣th. He gave his all but needs to find a bit more for the next round and get back in the top 10 of the Champtionship now sitting 12th.

First time racing on the new and extended track at southerns for the Festival State Cup Series Round 2 and Dom loved it.

New engine rules and new track surface threw us some curve balls this weekend but still with some good results and great driving by Dominic.

He Qualified 3rd
🥇 heats 1, 2, and 3 where he set the new track lap record.
The final was a good battle and saw him finish 2nd as Scarlett Pittam Motorsport was too strong, well done!
