Leigh Bee Brown I thought today would be easier. Then again, I never thought it would need to be easier. 34 years ago God sent me another little sister to tag along. I was upset about our Halloween party being cancelled. Then I remember holding you and smiling. Who needed a party when I had a baby sister, right? You we're so small and all I could do was smile. You we're destined to grow into the shining light you became.
I laugh at memories of you taking my tshirts when I was home on breaks from college. Watching you and Andria Brown scrap it out. Sitting down eating dinner as a family. Our talks about mythology and more. The last time I saw you. The last time we talked on the phone.
Every pain I have felt. Every year I have ever cried. I would experience them all, shed them all, at once to have another moment with you. God gained another angel but we lost one. But you left your mark and it's a mark that creates smiles.
Happy Birthday Sis. I love you and miss you daily.
