Cost for 12 rolls is about $2.50 this is using olive oil and Himalayan salt. if you use table salt and canola oil it is about 2.00 for 12 rolls. but I prefer olive and never use table salt.
quick and easy dinner rolls
1 cup 2.5 table spoons hot water about 110 degree
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil I prefer olive oil but you can do canola or vegetable
2 table spoons yeast mix these 4 items together with whisk or in your mixer just a fast mix then let sit for 6-10 mins till it foams up good. then ad following
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 egg
1 tsp salt. mix all together I use my kitchen aid with dough hook
it will form a nice soft ball divide into 12 balls butter a pan and roll the ball put in pan and let raise I find covering with a cloth they raise faster, preheat oven to 400 once raised place in oven and bake for 10 mins. once removed from oven brush with butter. it takes about 30 to 40 mins from start to finish for these rolls and they are so good.
