Fly Guy Clothing Co. also known as Fly Guy LLC was created on June 14, 2013 by Tamika Johnson who was a graduate student at Southern University A&M College of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Tamika started the company in her one bedroom apartment where she made the decision that one day she wanted to be physically, mentally, and spiritually aligned with God and his purpose for her life. She took her goal to be one with God in all of her accomplishments and turned it into a global brand.

Tamika went to her fellow Southern Univerity classmate who was a graphic designer working for a printing company and showed him her idea to build a brand and he insisted that she start with Fly Guy first and later develop Fly Girl. Tamika’s passion for fashion dates back to when she was a little girl, with her innovative way of always using the clothes she had to make them look more fashionable although they were not always new clothes or in style. She never allowed her circumstances or her environment to shape her reality of what she knew she wanted to accomplish in life.

Tamika’s current goal is to hire her graphic designer she started with full-time and give him the title as the creative director of the Fly Guy Brand and hire her best-friend who started working with her as an executive assistant. Tamika believes in giving back to her community through her foundation that she is currently building to assist other women, men, and children with their dreams of one day running their own global corporation. Tamika hopes that through her brand development she can continue to globally impact anyone who has a dream of achieving an innovative dream.
