We have partnered with Operation Christmas Child through Samaritans Purse. Our goal is to send 2,000 shoe boxes filled with toys, clothing, personal hygiene items and school supplies to boys and girls of all ages around the world. Round one of manning the table for the Student Veteran Organization's blanket drive for homeless vets. We did fairly well with all the blankets that were donated, today. One of the extremely rare times you'll see me in a mask and a children's one at that. 😂 Anything for my brothers and sisters. aha 😉😘 # # #

Our fight is not over. We still have a long battle to ensure that our vets get the proper care and assistance they need on the home front. Their sacrifices have been tremendous. Everything we do has one main focus, to give a voice for our brothers and sisters; to make sure that we get as many homeless vets off the streets; to connect with people for more job opportunities; to provide medical care to those who aren't eligible to access VA hospitals; and to help with the transition period and educating them on all the benefits the VA offers. 🇺🇸❤🤍💙

The Veteran Blanket drive is being held by the Maryville University Student Veteran Organization that founder of the MRL Foundation, Tessa Longhi, is the Vice President of. The drive will be held November 9-16 for homeless vets at the Maryville University campus in St. Louis, MO.
