The first wallpaper paste was a flour or starch paste of varying degrees of viscosity. main component. Various cellulose derivatives or modified starches are used as the main substance in wallpaper glue. For example: methyl cellulose, carbomethyl starch, etc.
Additional component. Standard PVA is used, due to which the water resistance of the mixture increases and adhesion increases.
